Just wondered if anybody had a phobia.
I do, and its really stupid, I have Mottephobia. the irrational fear of Moths and butterflies.
I run around scvreaming like a little girl if a moth comes into my house. I always make damn sure that I never leave my windows open with the light on!
Its the fury ones that really make me scared shitless!
Thats one reason why I hate summer, when you go outside in the day you see butterflies, and at night its warm so you have the windows open and then a moth comes in your house.

Hahahahahahaha! Mortiss is afraid of butterflies ;D Hilarious! I don't think I have any phobias... Though I don't like it when someone's got me in a deadlock and blocks my view or something. But I think everyone has that... Aprat from that, I used to be scared of heights. But I grew over that. Now all I'm afraid for is school. I have to pass my class next year. Otherwise I have to go another school!

Everyone is scared of something, its nothing to be ashamed of. Anyone who tries telling you they arent scared of anything is a filthy liar. It might not be as bad as a phobia but everyone is scared of soemthing, whether it be the dark, spiders, rats, birds, snakes, heights etc etc.
And Mottephobia is a common phobia, Moths are disgusting and they deserve to be gased out of extistence!

My phobias are the more common ones. Spiders & Heights.
Can't stand either of them. Though, on several occasions, I have momentarily overcome them. Going on some tall roller coasters or being able to actually kill a spider.
However, I still can't stand them and sweat like no other when presented with either.

I can understand why people are scared of spiders, but I've never felt extremely terrified of them. The other day I had one crawling on my leg and it gave me a shock at first but then I just got it to go on to a piece of paper and onto my desk. I think the only spider that might terrify me is a tarantula, only I'd only be really scared of scaring it, because I wouldn't want those hairballs to get into my eyes and blind me. :/
I used to be scared of heights but I got over that by looking down from the Empire State Building against everybody's recommendation and realizing that there was nothing to worry about; I wasn't going to fall. Now I'm not sure what I am frightened of, if anything. Probably just awkward situations. :/

I don't really have a phobia per se, but I am extremely paranoid about betrayal. I feel that I am too trusting, and therefore leave myself open to betrayal. Kind of ironic, considering the name of the site. But yeah aside from that, the only real thing that scares me is nothing. Literally, nothing. My own overactive imagination scares me to death over nothing.
I'm just a very paranoid person I guess.

I use to be afraid of heights, but got over that when I went on my first airplane trip.
Other than that I suppose sharks get it for me. As I don't/wouldn't want to goto any water that has had a shark existing in it at all.

no insect fears me...i guess my only fear is being overly crowded, i hate it when your in town, and your having to stop and be paitent for everyone to get past, and as you have to let the elderly and the women through first, you can be stationary for ages, and i panic when surrounded.
apart from that though...nothing really scares me...was always the phyco kid...always wanting to jum pto my death...so heights never bothered me....insects i got used to...after living in a house filled ful lof beatles lol...when i was young...very young.
so yeah...just crowded spaces...tho i'm not scared of tight spaces...put me in a box all u want...i wouldnt be bothered lol

You've got Agoraphobia. Fear off being of open spaces or of being in crowded places. Though it probably its isnt as bad as a phobia.
Youve really got to be suffering from proper bad anxiety and panic attacks when you are in the situation you are scared of or see the thing you are scared of.
I cant even watch Moths or butterflies on the tele, if I see a picture of one I have to run away from it, especially if it takes me by shock. Once you calm down after 20 or so minutes you begin to get more rational.
If its just something you arent overly fond of then its not a phobia, its just you being a wuss.
I dont really like any bugs or insects, even flies can make my heart pound a bit when they are near me or have landed on me, but its just an uncomforting experience rather than a full blown panic where you just leave whatever it is you were doing and whoever you were with.

.. you know, if I wanted to be an asshole, I'd put a picture of a moth or a butterfly in my sig. However, I'm a fairly nice person so, I won't do that. But it isn't necessarily wise to tell people that seeing pictures scares you. Though most people are nice about things like that, I personally know a few people who would do it just to be dicks about it.

lol, it wouldnt be that bad. Sure I'd be like "Oh shit!" and jump a mile when I saw it, but once I had seen it it wouldnt be too bad.
Besides I quite like being scared. Fills you with adrenaline! theres no feeling like it in the world, its unique, sometimes you gotta feel that fear to know that your alive. Its a bit like pain, pain every now and then can be quite enjoyable, you know your alive when the back of your hand is being burnt on a candle flame after losing a suicide arm wrestle to your mate. Barbed wire is another personal faveourite. Its totally worth the pain to see your mate in that pain when you win.
anyway I'm rambling, erm what were we talking about again?

.. Your hobbies are quite masochistic. I myself am a sadist, and am highly allergic to pain and suffering. I kinda agree with the being scared thing though. It's good to get scared every once in awhile...
I think we were talking about Fritos.
