*From Jiang Xia's walls, archers stood up with knotched bows. However, they were called off. There was a man atop the gates, who seemed unarmed, who called off any defense. He nodded his head to the captain of the defense, who then ordered the gate to be opened. The man from the walls then made his way down the guardhouse, taking a company of 200 swordsmen, and stood at the gate. A fine white horse was delivered to him, which he mounted and rode at a walking pace out of the city, to the open plains in front of the walls. The man raised a white flag.*"You westerners are too quick to war. My name is Ci Zhou, I am the governor of Jiang Xia. If you seek to seize the city, please have your leader meet me in the purple oasis three leus east, for negotiation. Meet me alone, and make your camp no less then ten miles away from Jiang Xia's walls."

((Where already at the walls and have broken through the gate, but I'll play along))
Liu Bei stairs at the man, concurring with the plan, even if Shu wouldn't get its glory through it. He nods to Bo Ru, his personal guard and they make their way off after the man, yelling out though..
"If anything you should be stationed ten miles from this city, which rightfully belongs to Shu!"

Pang Nodded, and motioned to Guan Shao, taking a contingent of his mounted bows, and headed south. They all went with him, hoping to skirmish any enemies, and then retreate quickly before the enemy could react.
Pang returned to his armies head, and held the flank. Most of his men eyed the south as thats what they were defending, and some eyed the castle, ready to flank it incase of any enemies attempting a retreating flank.

"What's he doing? It's got to be a trap, surely."
"Quiet, Jiang. Lord Liu Bei knows what he is doing- have faith."
But Fa Zheng's expression belied his inner fears, which were very much real. A meeting upon the battlefield was always a risk, and the strategist had very real experiences with this sort of thing- it was an event that could go very badly wrong, and to expose their grand leader might prove to be an error. But, Zheng was confident that the purple oasis wouldn't be a suitable place to hide an ambush, no matter how discrete. In the meantime, his defensively-minded unit simply waited, across on the left flank, hanging off from the corner of the city walls- from there, they could see both along the wall to the north, where any Wu reinforcements might arrive from, and to the east, where Lord Zhang Song was skilfully assailing the gate. Yes, the day was currently theirs, but would it remain that way? The cautious Zheng would like to think so, but his own personality wouldn't allow him. He could only wait, his troops in perfect alignment, their banners fluttering gently in the breeze.

A lone horsemen from the West rode onto the battlefield. He carried the white flag,as he had a message for the lord of Shu,Liu Bei.On his armor it had the symbol for "Lu" meaning he served Lord Lu Bu.He rode out,but admist this chaos he could not tell which from which. He saw though a figure, looking on as though a strategist or Minister of some sorts. He quickly rode up to this minister, whom he later found out it was Pang Tong.He handed the letter and also told him the current situation.
"Your lord and our lord,Ma Teng, are allies. My leader,Lord Lu Bu,sent me to tell your lord that we need reinforcements to attack Xiang Yang.If you have any honor and friendship with us,you will provde the need resources in taking Xiang Yang with us.What say you,Minister"?

Liu Bei was not there, and the messenger was chased off, being though a spy from Wu.
Later Xuande returns, ordering Fa Zheng the prefecture since the former governor had decided to withdraw from his life, and his lands. The men were allowed to leave, though many joined the Shu garrison in the name of King Liu Bei, no true thought put into it.
Liu Bei spoke to his men, his eyes glaring with command, pride and higher goals.
"We now show the world that Shu is that of a Kingdom of warriors, tacticians, and the chosen people. To hell with all else that side against us, we are here to restore order! Peace between lords will do nothing for us! We will not stop until all of China is under our control, in which the Han will rise again, in the dragon's shadow! Fa Zheng, Zhang Song, Huang Zhong, you are to remain here and defend against the other nations!" Liu Bei's army leaves with Guan Yu, who was given Jiang Ling as his own prefecture.

Pang Tong watched the display of the Virtuous Leader. He was a man after his own heart.
Sighing, he lit a firecracker, and threw it upwards. It exploded, and Guan Shao's men began their retreat from the borders. Upon meeting, Pang Tong spoke.
Back to Ba, my old friend. Maybe we should rename it... Ba is kinda... Stupid, you know?
Whatever you wish, Lord Tong.
You need to loosen up.. come on, joke around. Not always a necessity to be serious.
Whatever you wish, Lord Tong.
Its going to be a long ride home...
The Tong army withdraws from Jiang Xia, leaving but a few broken standards as display of them being there.

Zhang Song's army threw the log they had cut into the river, having no need for it inside the city, The entire army fell into rank behind their leader as they marched into the city, Song was glad the battle ended with no bloodshed, and hoped it would remain that way for the time being
