The Yellow Turban AssaultForce: Han Loyalists vs.Force: Yellow Turban Rebels The Turban uprising had initially spread rather slow for what would soon become the largest threat to the land in hundreds of years. However, shortly after its meager beginning, yellow turbans began to overwhelm the surrounding lands and all who would not turn their backs on the dynasty, to embrace the Way of Peace, were annihilated. The coalition against the rebels had failed enabling the massive tidal wave of soldiers to grow astronomically. This led to multiple battles which the turbans claimed victory after victory; leaving them, however, over-extended as they now controlled such a vast amount of land. The latest battle between the Han and Turban forces, commanded by Zhang Bao and Zhang Liao, ended in victory for the rebel force even though three quarters of the entire Turban army was not present. Zhang Bao's skill in leading men, which seemed almost mesmerizing, was too much for the Han defenders who were pinned down in the city of Qiao. It was, however, the wiley nature and brutal strength of Er Aorong which dealt the loyalists a final and crushing blow. Fire was something that seemed to drive Aorong mad using its intense heat and dancing flames to send thoughts of destruction through his mind. This ploy by the turban general, mixed with the felling of the northern wall by Zhang Bao, would be all the Han forces could stand. What the defending soldiers witnessed before the final assault by Er Aorong was demoralizing and the survivors, if any, would most likely shutter in their sleep for years to come. Turban fanatics, covered in fish oil and set ablaze, where launched via catapult toward the walls of the city. The soldiers upon the ramparts could only watch in fear thinking of what would happen if they lost the fight. Surely such crazed opponents would fight until death bringing as many enemies into the afterlife with them as was possible. This was, of course, just the shock phase of Aorong's attack which worked perfectly. Charred bodies still sizzled a bit as the rush of attackers moved toward the western gate with fire in hand. There, wolfs teeth racks were stationed by Zhang Liao and soon they were set on fire which began to engulf the entire gateway. Hours of intense hand to hand combat ensued on the streets of Qiao and soon the battle was over. For the city's residents, however, the battle raged on long into the night as they attempted to put out the flames of war. After the Turban victory, Zhang Liao, vowing never to surrender, was executed by Er Aorong himself. Aorong had indeed bested the great warrior but was unaware that Wenyuan's loyal officer, Zhang Yuan, had escaped to the east after being routed. This seemingly small event would turn into something much larger in the near future. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~The Yellow Turbans, now cotrolling the entire north of the Yellow River, turn their sights on rooting out the remaining survivors of the loyalists. Due to the cowardly subjugation of some smaller surrounding kingdoms, the Han forces had no where to turn for aid. The southern armies, who may have been able to help, were busy fighting each other for land and power. Little did they know that the lives they wasted fighting each other would be so important when the tide of yellow heads south. Er Aorong, now the Grand Commander of the Turban forces, leads the army which is tracking down the survivors of Qiao. He has learned, from spies, that the loyalists were now under the command of Zhang Yuan and that they were camped 20 miles to the east. Yuan and his small army were trying to recruit fighters to the cause but many were ready to serve the Way of Peace. The Han was almost dead and the people seeing strength in this new man, Zhang Jiao, decided it best to follow suit. Of course, many people tend to switch sides or change religions due to death being the other option. The final battle, if the turbans are victorious, would not take place for some time due to internal strife between the brothers Bao and Jiao. Indecisive planning had led to recent defeats and the brothers were beginning to turn on one another. The two eventually decided to take armies to the west and south; finally deciding to go ahead with the eastern attack led by Er Aorong. This time, the calm before the storm, would enable the Han loyalists to prepare for the inevitable assault. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~Battle of the Crimson RiverYellow Turban Commander: Er Aorong Han Loyalist Commander: Zhang Yuan Turban Army:Er Aorong 100 Elite Riders (Black Armor with twin swords) 2000 Naked Fanatics (No armor, no shirt, one sword) 1000 Swordsmen (Armor, sword and shield) 750 Archers (No armor, bow and dagger) 750 Spearmen (No armor, spear and small throwing spear) 500 Cavalry (Armor, lances) 3 Archer Boats (Holds 250) 3 Docking Boats (Holds 300) 5 Transport Boats (Holds 500) *Naked Fanatics are capable of swimming* *Naked Fanatics are capable of Berserker* Turban Supplies:Logs Straw Buckets Rope Fish oil Other (just clear it with me first) Han Army:Zhang Yuan 100 Elite Riders (Silver Armor with sword and battle mace) 3000 Han Peasants (No armor, one sword) 750 Swordsmen (Armor, sword and shield) 750 Archers (No armor, bow and dagger) 750 Spearmen (No armor, spear and small throwing spear) 500 Cavalry (Armor, lances) 2 Archer Boats (Holds 250) 3 Docking Boats (Holds 300) *Peasants are capable of swimming* *Peasants are capable of Rally* Han Supplies: Logs Straw Buckets Rope Fish oil Other (just clear it with me first) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~Starting Points:Turbans start to the southwest with the mountians behind them. Recent Reports:Word has reached the ears of Zhang Yuan that a warrior known as Cao Ren, once under the command of Cao Mengde, has been spotted in the region with a small rogue force. Word has reached the ears of Zhang Yuan that Shen Ha, warrior and co-commander of the Qiao battle, has been spotted in the region with a small rogue force. Word has reached the ears of Er Aorong that Zhang Jiao, leader of the Yellow Turbans, could make an appearance to turn the tides of battle with a large force. Reports have come in to both sides indicating the river is swelling due to recent rain in the north. Water levels are higher than normal, not much, but the current is fast and possibly unstable.

(I could rp Shen Ha. Though I thought in the last Yellow Turban battle that I beheaded Zhang Jiao? Then Zhang Bao was in command of the Turbans.)

Facing the Inevitable
The blazing sun scorches the earth with its powerful rays and the gleaming reflections of armor can be seen spreading throughout the open plains of the northeast. Birds sing and young children play on a day that, weather wise, could be considered perfect. Not a cloud in the sky with a cool breeze every now and then; ah, how nice to be alive. Well, for at least these brief moments of nirvana before the arrival of a most formidable army with intentions on annihilation.
The annihilation of the remaining Han loyalists who would dare stand against the Great Teacher and his Way of Peace was what Er Aorong planned to deliver. The black armor wearing warrior had a reputation of being, shall we say, over the edge. The 'Demon of Battle' was a name not forgotten upon any in the ranks of the Han force on this day or any following the battle of Qiao. It would take a most stalwart force, commanded by a great leader, to withstand the assault coming from the Yellow Turban tidal wave of slaughter.
Zhang Liao was that great leader though his subordinate Zhang Yuan fought bravely at Qiao against Kakashi and his much larger force. However, if it was not for a warrior known as Maximus the current Han commander would probably be dead. It was Maximus's brilliant schemes within the forest of Qiao which turned the tide in the north and enable the Han to hold out for days longer than ever expected. Yuan would have to dig deep within his very being to bring about a victory on this day.
As expected by the Han, due to scouts in the surrounding areas, the army of the Yellow Turbans arrives on the field of battle. The huge force was not actually visible for quite sometime but the shaking and quaking of the ground was enough to alert the already gathered defenders. You see, Er Aorong had no intention of masking his attack and actually taunted towns and villages along the way about destroying the remaining loyalists. Some of these small villages had spies working for Zhang Yuan who had hired them while passing through. The spies made contact with Yuan's scouts who made haste to inform the Han force. It was as if Er Aorong wanted to make a battle of it, to inform his enemy before arriving so that he may have a challenge.
To the south, supply carts create a train behind the Turban army as they pour into the foothills. Naked fanatics, turban swords, and other veteran units are all ready to give battle. Zhang Jiao's control over them is extraordinary and they are unwavering in their loyalty to him. However, they find true strength in the presence of the mighty Er Aorong who is a battlefield general as opposed to diplomat or politician.
To the north, an army which was recently on the verge of destruction rallies around their fearless leader to oppose the major threat across the Crimson River. Red banners fly with honor in the morning breeze as supply trains move south toward the frontlines near the shoreline. Han vessels are already in the water waiting to be utilized and logs are being unloaded near the shore to be used as barricades, more than likely.
"So, they send the guard dog to hunt me down?"
Zhang Yuan sits upon his black war steed, silver armor with red flowing cape and plume blowing in the breeze, thinking of his opponent as Han units begin to take shape around him.
"I am not even worthy of one of the Zhang brothers!?" Yuan says to himself with a smirk.
The Han commander had nothing else to lose but his life and even that, if lost, would be a welcome retreat from the chaos and destruction that consumed mankind. However, there was time for reflecting on the past after one could possibly survive the coming onslaught. It was, time for battle.
"I want barricades erected along the shore to damper the enemies formations and overall movement!" the leader barks out to the peasant captain who quickly signals to his groups.
The peasant units move toward the shore to erect barricades to hopefully cut down the land attack from the overwhelming navy controlled by the Turbans. The other units stand by their leader who has his head lowered in prayer to the divine heavens hoping that they can offer aid on this day. Zhang Yuan, however, is not very religious and this last minute request is normal of humans on the blades edge readying themselves to enter the afterlife. He knows all to well the gods have abandoned him in the past and it is more of an act of wishful thinking.
The unsheathing of his twin katanas sends a chill up the spines of his men. The recognizable noise of the sliding blades offers his men strenth however, as they know the blood of many a turban will be upon them. It is the enemy which should fear such a noise as his twin blades will sing a song of death before slicing through the necks and limbs of Er Aorong's men.
Finally, across the river, the enemy commander could be seen.
"So, the Demon appears."
Zhang Yuan looks to his men and yells out to them.
"Fear not this Demon that the Turbans possess for he is just a man of flesh and blood!"
The men know what their leader says is true but none the less they have witnessed this enemy in action and it was scary, to say the least.
"If you still have doubts than i will cleave his head and drop it before your feet!"
Zhang Yuan's steed neighs as it is urged forward to the shoreline so that he may show his defiance to the Turban army.
From across the shore Yuan can see the black clad leader of the enemy force and he just stares him down for what seemed like eternity.
"Finally i can face the man who has haunted my dreams" Yuan says looking across the raging water.
"Zhang Liao, this is for you my friend."
Turning his steed to move back to the front lines he yells out once arriving there.
"To the boats!!"
The army yells out to show the enemy they would never back down. If there were dead bodies floating from one side to the other they would climb across them to slay their enemies, whatever it takes.

Okay, Ayden jumped in on the Turban side as Zhang Bao but he can still decide to be a normal general or actually lead the entire force.
Han:
Zhang Yuan
Turbans:
Er Aorong Zhang Bao/Ayden Zhang Jiao
Zhang Bao is now the leader as he is higher ranking in the Turban forces.
If the Leader of the Way of Peace arrives he takes command unless Bao is given authorization

The sound of a war horn was not comforting to the Han army preparing for battle because it did not come from their side of the river. On the opposite shore, behind Er's massive army, comes another small force commanded by none other that Zhang Bao. This man, brother to the leader of the Yellow Turbans, was crafty to say the least and his skills in leading soldiers was legendary at this point. The only other man to score such great victories for the Way of Peace was Er himself so the two on the field together would create an indomitable force. If Zhang Jiao were to arrive on the battlefield there would be little the Han could do to hold the tidal wave back.
500 more men arrive on the field under the command of Bao. 400 veteran swordsmen and 100 elite turban swordsmen were going to make the situation for the Han that much more difficult. The yellow banners of the reinforcements fly high symbolizing the presence of the Turban's second in command.
Across the river Zhang Yuan is beginning to fear for the worse seeing even more hungry enemies ready to take down the remaining loyalists. Thinking of a comment, earlier to himself, Yuan smiles as one of the powerful brothers arrives to put an end to the lone enemy commander. Certainly they saw the Han general as a threat and needed to send more men with some of their best officers.
"Wait about ten minutes and then make your move."
A small group of peasants, set back from the main group, wait patiently for their unit leader who just received orders from the commander.
Staring across the river one last time before ordering his men into the boats, Yuan thinks of all the soldiers that would perish on this day. It was unfortunate, indeed, but something had to be done to halt the spread of the Turban uprising which seemed to engulf the north like a plague.
"I want those barricades up before the enemy hits this shore!!" he says yelling back to a captain of the barricade task group.
Zhang Yuan and his brave soldiers enter the Han vessels and prepare to give a naval battle before defending the shoreline. The last stand would most likely take place near the Han camp if the army could even muster enough men at that point. Hopefully, some other officers who see the Turbans as a threat would arrive to offer aid.
"Archer boats!"
The Han commander yells out to his archer groups who were busy loading arrows, hay, and fish oil onto the boats.
"Watch our flanks as the main group attacks the center!"
The captains bow and go about their duties before the force pushes off to engage the enemy.
"This naval battle will decide the advantage for the rest of the war!"
Raising his right katana to the sky and then forward he gives the signal to advance.
"Now! Forward!"

The boats push off from the shore and begin the journey toward the center of the river to meet the enemy. Shortly after the vessels move away from the land a small group of men begin to move northwest along the shoreline.

The nights had been filled with the din of clashing metal mingled with the competing screams of the wounded and dying. The chaos of the land had taken its first step towards domination, sending its foul messengers: the disillusioned, the hungry, the forlorn, the possibly Korean, to besiege the Han, to besiege order, peace and culture itself all for the sake of one shriveled old man with delusions of grandeur about his philosophies. Sadly though, his words had gained a momentum of sorts, and even now, his ranks filled with the bandits, pirates and degenerates, men of avarice who saw profit in an unholy alliance such as this.
To see the land that he loved, that he served, put to the sword and the torch would have made Cao Ren weep, were he not been preoccupied with preserving his life.
Eight of them had ambushed him and his second, a man named Zhou Dao while they were en route to rejoin their army as it marched to where scouts had reported the Han forces were setting up camp in preparation for the Yellow Turban assault, and even now, the six men that remained after their initial charge broke into two pairs of three to engage their prey. The five turban soldiers wielded swords, and a man who carried himself with a sort of personally-assumed authority, most likely a captain of some nature, held an axe that would let him harm even his more heavily armored opponents.
*********
His shield lost to a fierce tackle attack on the part of one of his foes, Cao Ren ducked beneath a horizontal slash intended to be the follow-up. His enemies, if nothing else, had thought it wise to separate him from his shield, and though the first turban who had performed the tackle was still working to get to his feet, he had succeeded in his task. Unfortunately for his comrade who now swung, Cao Ren was unwilling to allow such a loss to cripple his efforts. When the Turban attempted to attack again, this time with a vertical slash that would have struck him in the head, Cao Ren drove forward, his blade driving deep into the mid-section of the hapless attacker.
Off to his right, a Turban crumpled under a vicious stab to the chest by the halberd of Zhou Dao, but Cao Ren was unable to truly bear witness to it, or to his own victim. Instead, he brought his dao up to meet the attack of the Turban who had taken his shield before, and from the parry delivered a fierce kick that shattered the kneecap of his foe. As the man lost his composure, and his balance in light of such a quick and terrible injury he was not trained to handle, or even to cope with, Cao Ren followed through by digging his blade into the throat of the Turban and messily slashing it.
Though the captain was advancing on him, Cao Ren watched Zhou Dao cut the legs out from his second opponent, unaware that the blade of the third was about to find his neck. Unwilling to lose his second, his fellow officer and friend, Cao Ren threw his blade, sending it spiraling towards the offending Turban. It bit into his back, and the man pitched forward uncontrollably, dead as he stumbled into the ground.
Unfortunately, the gesture, while ensuring the salvation of Zhou Dao, left Cao Ren without a weapon or shield to face the charge of the captain, who held his axe in a two-handed grip over his head as he came. waiting until the last possible instant that his armored form could move out of the way, Cao Ren twisted to the side as the Captain unleashed his overhead slash and struck the man in the back of the head with an open-handed slap that sent him to a knee and gave Cao Ren the chance to retrieve his shield.
Unabashed, the captain charged again, but something in his poise suggested that he did not intend to repeat his previous tactic, and this time, Cao Ren assumed a proper defensive stance, preparing to block or even body-check the Captain. His guess was affirmed when the captain halted just before the point of no return and swung his axe in a horizontal cut that Cao Ren caught with his shield, and as his foe prepared a follow-up, Cao Ren lunged and body-checked the Captain, shield first. Taking the initiative he had just earned, Cao Ren turned his shield into a weapon, striking the Captain in the face, shattering his nose. As the Captain reeled, Zhou Dao called to his superior and tossed Cao Ren his sword. Fully armed, the Cao advanced on his opponent and finished what his shield had begun.
***********
Rejoining his men, Cao Ren resumed his march to join the Han forces. As the crossed the open grass off to the northwest of the fields, Cao Ren could see the beginnings of a naval battle in the river. Their enemy would give quite a fight; no doubt the river would run red long before the battle was over.
"Be sure to fly both our standard and that of the Han,” he stated the order in his usual stoic voice.
For now, they would simply continue their march towards the Han encampment and the fields, banners held high, ready to intercept any enemy forces that came within reach.

Defying the will of heaven, leads to suffering...Amongst the wars of the Han and the Yellow Scarves rose warriors and strategists of immense skill. Some joined the Han, others joined the Scarves, each having their own personal belief. A belief which they would fight for, a belief that they would kill for....a belief that they would die for. It was this belief that led them on, into the raging flames of battle.
Amongst the Yellow Scarves were the three distinguished Zhang brothers. The crafty Liang, the mighty Bao and the General of Heaven, Jiao or Jue as some refer him as. The great Zhang Bao was currently apart of this battle between the Han's, he commanded his army as though they were family. Peasent or general, each one would give their life for the Glory of Heaven and for that, Zhang Bao would bless them all.
Zhang Bao gathered his men in front of a altar that had been built many years ago. Zhang Bao stood atop the stairs of the altar, the man had paint acorss his face. He wore a yellow breastplate and yellow leg guards. No other armour was needed for the general. On his belt, lay a sword named Jato. The beautiful metal that soared through the air with a whisping sound. In his hand, was one of the very Way of Peace books. It was entrusted to him by Zhang Jiao. Zhang Bao held one of the volumes up in front of his men and cried out."Great followers of Heaven and brothers alike! The fools thou see before you are nothing but mislead pawns. Instead of death, let us carry out the glorious will of Heaven! We shall spare as many as possible, they shall see what we see! Before we set out, I must bless thee. Remember followers, death comes swiftly and painlessly if you die for Ye heavens! Victory will please the Ones above and therefore we shall create a New Era known as the Way of Peace!!!!"His men roared in approval of his charisma. The men then set about with certain orders. They encamped themselves along the border of the river. The bowmen set up and began to prepare to fire at any oncoming boats that tried to gain passage."We shall have to use defense here.......Hmmm.........the water depth is low, flooding shall occur if it begins to rain........"Zhang Bao lowered himself to one knee in front of the altar. Laying his sword at his feet, he opened his trusty piece of the Way of Peace. He began praying before the altar...."Heavens, a servant of you is calling out. By the power entrusted to me by your faithful general, Jiao. I ask....no....beg that you cause a shower of fresh and clean rain. Let my men not have to raise their swords and kill. Allow one of your very own creations wreak havoc among the armies of the foolish Han. If this battle is won, peace shall be known throughout the land........I beg of ye great and mighty above......"(ooc, Zhang Yuan will be the one who decides if the rain falls and causes flooding of the river.......he is the battle Moderator after all.....)

Control of Both Heaven and EarthThe sounds of rushing water, surrounding on all sides, was hypnotic and almost peaceful if one was not aware of the inevitable death that awaited them only minutes away. New noises, unnatural in their origin, would ring out soon enough and they would be sounds of clashing weaponry, the screams of the wounded, and the bone chilling silence of the dead. One would think this last would not be audible, which scientifically is true, but to look into the eyes of a fallen soldier engulfs a man momentarily as he witnesses one of nature's creations ended early due human greed and stupidity. How such supposedly intelligent creatures could slaughter each other in masse is unheard of in the animal kingdom; surely a question to ask the gods if one were to move on to the afterlife, though their hands, if palms shown upright, would most likely be red. The survivors of this bloody battle would soon find that the re-occuring cries of the dead, which ring out in their heads and haunt their dreams, were audible and could drive even the stronger of men to suicide or solice in the drink for eternity. Standing upon the bow of the central docking boat, Zhang Yuan scans the enemy shoreline wondering why their ships had not departed yet to meet them in battle. Though the clashing of weapons and beliefs was what the soldiers feared most, it was moments like this that their commander feared even more. Something was wrong and it was no doubt due to the arrival of Zhang Bao onto the field. The plan, which called for a naval battle, had not taken into account the enemy holding a defensive position along the shore; which, would be unbreakable by the Han's current force. If that was not bad enough, the movement of an alter carried by some of the turban fanatics on the opposite side of the river did not bode well for Zhang Yuan's army; or his spirit for that matter which just sunk to a low level. Yuan looks back to his men who were pre-occupied with rowing the vessels and relying on his commands as their eyesight. "Halt rowing immediately!"The order is given and it travels from one vessel to the other until they all hold their advance. The water, still breaking off of the boats with strong force, was already at a heightened level due to recent rainfall. The total depth of the river was indeed low and what would follow, after Zhang Bao kneels before the alter, would be quite the strategic plan; if even possible to possess such powers as the great leaders of the Way of Peace were said to have. "No" was the only word that could roll off of Yuan's tongue and it was certainly not aloud to spook his men. It was as if he had seen a ghost as the dark clouds began to roll in. Thunder and lightning rumbles sending shivers up the spines of the Han force and it begins to pour water from the heavens at a most unnatural rate. The captain, stationed on the bow of the ship to Yuan's left, looks over to his leader with a look of utter shock on his face. Another, located on the commander's vessel, approaches from behind his lord and speaks up. "Sir, how can we defeat such an enemy!?"The men rowing the ship, who were ordered to stop, were now all looking to see what was going on and they were beginning to lose their self control. "Do the heavens truly support the Way of Peace and the downfall of the Han?" Zhang Yuan thinks to himself with his back still turned to his inquisitive comrade. The initial plan was a failure now and the momentum had been lost, that is, if the Han ever had it. As the water level begins to slowly rise, the Han commander knew his force would be washed down the river and sent into chaos. "Turn the boats around and head back to the shore!"The command was given but it took a few minutes for the soldiers to actually respond with movement as they were still in shock. If the trip to the center of the river seemed slow and eternal than the trip back seemed like riding Red Hare across the open plains. Most likely scared, almost to death, by Bao's enchantment the boats seemed to float across the water as men put all their might into getting back to land, alive. "Harder, row harder!" was the call that rings out. The water level was beginning to rise due to the heavy rain and soon the shores were overflowing slightly. Both armies get doused in heaven's 'tears', so to speak, but it was not the Turbans who were anywhere close to sadness. Their famed leader had turned the enemy away with little effort. Not only was Zhang Bao a capable leader and warrior but also, as could be seen by all, a talented mystic. Cheers erupt from the Turban side of the river and morale for the Han soldiers begins to plummet. The only relief for them at this point is the sight of land in the near distance as with northern most vessel is beginning to be pushed into its companion by the powerful current. Soldiers from the shore move forward quickly to offer help in anchoring the boats. "Stay docked until the storm subsides!" the Han commander exclaims to his navy. "We must damage the enemy fleet or all is lost."This last statement was made to himself as it was not something he would have blurted out in front of his troops but instead only to a good friend or high ranking comrade. Just as the tides of war were starting to flow heavy in the Yellow Turban's favor, from the depths of the growing fog comes a messenger making much haste. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~The Winds of Change Bring Strength and Courage to the Han"My lord, as our scouts had informed this morning, Cao Ren is in the area and has just engaged a small band of Turbans to the north!"The messenger, out of breath, waits anxiously for a response from his lord as the shoreline soldiers begin to gather around the meeting. "And, what of the skirmish?" was the question that followed; though with Ren's reputation it would be hard to believe a defeat was the next response. "Successful for Lord Ren, sir."The soldiers on the shore raise their weapons and cheer in celebration of any dead Turban and the possible arrival of a most powerful ally. Zhang Yuan's elite riders, clad in unique silver armor and wielding short swords with battle maces, move towards his position. "Then, i shall ride to meet with him."The commander hands over control of the shoreline force to the captain in charge of the barricade construction, which, was coming along slowly but surely. The Rising Phoenix urges his black war steed forward and his long flowing red cape begins to trail behind as his elites follow to meet with Cao Ren. Dust kicks up, what little left that was not soaked in rain, and the group makes hast northeast. ***************Blue banners mingled with red stream across the open plains in the north as salvation arrives for the Han forces. Just as it looked as if the heavens would turn its back on the Han, from the darkness comes a beacon of light, of hope, in the figure of the mighty Cao Ren. Troops in the main encampment rally around the new general who cleary was fighting for the dynasty with red banners flying high. With this famed warrior were 800 soldiers in total, quite the army for a rogue general. The most incredible feature of this man's force was no doubt the elite swordsmen which number 100 strong, however, close in comparison to this powerful unit is the undeniable presence of Ren. The man's aura, acting like the gravity of a massive star. brings people to him and his ability to command makes them strong men as opposed to weak mice. 700 peasant fighters rallied around Cao Ren on his journey in search of an army to which he could offer aid in this time of chaos. After Cao Mengde's defeat, and death, after Yuan Shao's attempts at victory had failed, Ren had no where else to turn. Fortunate on this day were both men as their paths would finally cross. The red banners, with yellow emblems of the phoenix symbolizing Yuan's elite unit, move toward the rogue army's location. Zhang Yuan raises his fist to halt his men which they do instantly; showing their loyalty and discipline. "There are no words that can express my gratitude if you are, in fact, here to offer aid against the rising tide of chaos that is the Yellow Turban rebels" Yuan says as his steed trots closer to Ren's where he could offer a handshake in thanks. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Yellow Turban morale skyrockets due to the skill and presence of Zhang Bao. His tactic turned the inital assault of the Han back and raised his men's excitement to almost crazed levels. Though, the thousands of Turban Fanatics are already crazed so they are now going to start killing anything in site other than their allies.Han morale crumbles after witnessing the control of the heaven's by Zhang Bao.Han morale begins to rise after the arrival of Cao Ren to the field.((Nice posts guys.. Rob/Ren, you have your 800 assigned troops until i give you command of others in character. Ayden/Bao, you can take control of the entire army if you wish as you are higher ranking and i don't know where Er is lately.)) ((I gave everyone 100 elites each but you can feel free to make them whatever type of unit you wish. Just not like, ah, cataphracts or something insane... .... damn, *drools for cataphracts*.. i love them.. ;D))

Current Positions: Blue with white = Cao Ren Red with white = Zhang Yuan Yellow with black to east = Er Aorong Yellow with black to west = Zhang Bao Red square = Han main camp Yellow square = Turban main camp Current Post order = None Note to the turbans: The main idea for this was to have a small naval battle which i have found to be rare on these sites. Though, it would obviously turn to hand to hand when near each other, still it will be fun. In reality, there is no way i could launch an assault as i have no transport ships, so, it will be up to you to do the 'invading', so to speak. Though you probably already know that, just offering some advice to get things heating up. Because i already started work on a barricade you can skip a few turns and get a jump start on construction time and create something with your lumber and what not, if you wish. Any other interesting ideas, or anything else, can be added in just PM me with your thoughts.

A few drops of rain began to fall 5 minutes after Zhang Bao had finished his prayer. In a couple of seconds, the few drops turned to incredible buckets of water that battered the boats of the Han forces. The water level rushed high at a insane speed and the intense winds caused much unrest amongst the water.
"Praise be to ye Heavens........"
Zhang Bao stood up and bowed, before grabbing Jato off the ground and walking to the crowds of men that wished to attack. He stood before the raging fanatics that wished to rip apart the foolish Han. Zhang Bao could see the fury and passion in their eyes. They truly wished for the Han to crumble, as did the heavens. Zhang Bao gathered the fanatics who were prepared to dive into the water and swim to shore, despite the conditions.
"Patience my brothers. This is only the first step of my incredible plan........."
Scouts soon reported that a force under the famous general and cousin of Cao Cao, Cao Ren had arrived on the battlefield. Despite the looming conditions, the Han forces men began to gain hope.....Not really what Zhang Bao wanted......
Zhang Bao then turned to 100 of those naked fanatics, he then gave orders to board 1 docking boat and lead a assault on the shores of the Han. Why was Zhang Bao doing this? The weather was obviously fairly unsafe, and these men could be thrown overboard. However, Zhang Bao had some plan that he wished to exploit......
(So, Zhang Yuan. Do you have more intelligence than Zhang Liao possesed? Or will you die, just like him.....)
(OOC, it will be a naval battle, don't worry. I'm just being tactical.....Sorry it took so long, believe it or not, after I typed this post and clicked post, my internet crashed so I copy and pasted it and waited till my net started workin again. How freaking bad is that luck)
