So, discuss baseball here. Doesn't have to be MLB, could be anything having to do with baseball. I should change the title, but I'm not gunna.
Good starting question: Who do you think is going to win the World Series this year?
It'll be the Mets vs White Sox if you ask me, but you can;t ignore the Tigers, Cardinals, Athletics, etc. I'm just hoping for a repeat.
Spam will be deteled, unless the spammer likes baseball.

Marlins really killed the Cubs in 2003, made me a happy man.
But trading isn't the coach's job. That's the owner and the GM.

I, personally, don't like the MLB. Baseball is a solitary sport, and you can make yourself rich while remaining fat. The greedy ones go on 'roids. The game lacks coordination - where in Basketball or soccer, all players are coordinating to make a play, and all are running and jumping, in baseball one player acts at a time, and when the entire team acts it is for a short burst, like football (american) yet less rough. As far as team sports go, Baseball ranks low for me. But I won't bash it anymore, and I'll hold off on football (american) until someone dares make a thread for that. ((I prefer soccer/football and rugby, personally, as team sports go))
The Rangers are not nearly as good as they wish, and they won't get anywhere. Mench doesn't deserve to start. Gary Mathews Jr. is their best player, because he's actually a very well-trained athlete. That's about all I have to say of my hometown team.

Not coordinated!?!?! Most coordinated. Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to hit that tiny ball when it's coming in 95 mph? Do you have any idea how hard it is to field it so fluently and perfectly? Those guys are so talented. And yeah, doesn't require alot of physical fitness, but it's very mental. You're up to bat with two men on, two outs, top of the ninth down by one. The entire ballpark is filled with drunk arrogant fans, booing the living shit out of you. But he hits a home run to put his team up 8-6, which is the ending score. That's hard. Base running is pretty tough too, alot of thinking involved. And as for the team sport, it's more of a team sport then basketball. Basketball is too much on a single player, like Cleveland. Not everyone is involved. Baseball really relies on their clubhouse, coordination and practice with timing and whatnot. I agree with maybe 5% of what you just said. No offense meant in any of that paragraph.
