The main system we use for defining a particular characters abilities through the gaming world is by his/her statistics, or as they will be now referred to, "stats". Stats determine how well your character is at a particular aspect of ancient warfare, as well as how famous you are in this time. In order to play this game, you must have verified stats that have been checked with an administrator or moderator.
Here is a description of the stats, and how they can affect game-play
War - Determines your characters strength as a warrior, and how well his/her army can fight on a battlefield. The higher this stat is, the more damage you can deliver to an enemy unit.
Tactics (Tac) - This stat shows how well you can deal with battlefield situations, devising plans and ploys to aid any situation. A higher number in this area will increase your chances of ploys such as ambushes and fire arrows to succeed.
Politics (Pol) - The ability to govern, and aid in foreign and internal relations, is a key aspect to the politics stat. A higher number here results in an increased chance that the people of a city will like you. Is an essential for mindful strategist.
Leadership (Lea) - Your leadership stat will determine how well you can govern an army, and rally existing troops into a supreme mobile fighting unit. This stat plays a part in purchasing the higher tier troops, as well as the overall discipline of your unit.
Fame - This is different from the other stats, and is far easier to increase than the previous 4. It shows how well your character is known throughout the lands of China, and with it, your respect and income as an officer of an army. A higher fame stat also means that it becomes far easier to muster a larger army, due to the large income you shall receive.
Note: Only original characters will have the ability to choose their starting stats. All RTK officers will be given stats that a player must abide by should they choose to play as them.
Note: Your statistics do not always have to be within your signature space - however, a regularly updated record of them must be posted within the character selection area.
If you have any questions, please direct them to the public council, or an administrators PM box.
