The Arena is a large rounded arena, about 120 ft both length at width, just very short grass, no long enough to hide behind no doubt, the audience is set in a circle around the arena, cheering for both competitors. The time was now, the tournament had begun, screams were heard from the audience, Guan Yu entered, his enemy, a man to be feared in a duel, Guan Yu held his Polearm tight, not willing to let go, even at the cost of his arm, maybe even his life, he slowly walked in the arena, instructions were giving for both to stand near enough in the middle, 10ft apart, markings were made out to show the warriors where to begin, following this order, Guan Yu, taking no heed to the audience, concentrates his hardest, he had to fight well to win this oncoming duel, whether he'd win or not, he was unsure, all he was sure about is this battle would probably be his hardest yet...After reaching the desired spot, he waited, his eyes narrowly open, his weapon tight in hand, he was ready, he just hoped his opponent was also, he waited for his opponent as he got some practice attacks in(Crap post, crap first round for me lol )

Technically, if it was four days, that's 48 hours more. I meant 48 hours as in that's how long it takes to be disqualified after the post of the opponent. So you advance, unless you want to continue waiting.

Will do The Arena is a large rounded arena, about 120 ft both length at width, just very short grass, no long enough to hide behind no doubt, the audience is set in a circle around the arena, cheering for both competitors. The time was now, the tournament had begun, screams were heard from the audience, Guan Yu entered, his enemy, a man to be feared in a duel, Guan Yu held his Polearm tight, not willing to let go, even at the cost of his arm, maybe even his life, he slowly walked in the arena, instructions were giving for both to stand near enough in the middle, 10ft apart, markings were made out to show the warriors where to begin, following this order, Guan Yu, taking no heed to the audience, concentrates his hardest, he had to fight well to win this oncoming duel, whether he'd win or not, he was unsure, all he was sure about is this battle would probably be his hardest yet...After reaching the desired spot, he waited, his eyes narrowly open, his weapon tight in hand, he was ready, he just hoped his opponent was also, he waited for his opponent as he got some practice attacks in *It was a while before Mortiss showed himself, Guan Yu had been stood waiting for at least a couple of hours. The audience began to become restless, they booed and jeered, many left the arena disenchanted by what they had witnessed. It was getting late, the blazing hot sun was now hidden behind the blackening clouds, it was nearing night. The light of day had vanished, the suns warm rays were replaced by a cold chill. Guan Yu continued to wait, wondering where his opponent could possibly be. Guan knew as well as the next man that Mortiss lived to duel, it was his entire purpose in life, he would never back down from a fight, would he? Guan became agitated, should he claim victory by default? He would look like a coward if Mortiss did show up. Guan continued to wait, was this just a ploy by Mortiss to make him nervous?* *The audience had all but left, the arena that was filled to capacity to witness a one on one fight between two of the most famous warriors in the land, but it would seem that the fight would not happen like promised. The arena was left empty, it was eerily quiet, the only noise came from the breathing of Guan and the whistling cool breeze. Guan was ready to leave when at last a black shape entered the arena. He was bare chested, his war scars and black tattoos were shown off, his face was covered in blue war paint, his trademark black dreads dangling down his face, blowing in the wind. He was small in stature but was stocky and muscular, by his side were two blades, blood stained as usual. There could be no mistake, Mortiss had arrived.* *Guan watched as Mortiss slowly arrived in the center circle he did not even look at Guan, a menacing smile was plastered onto his warlike face, his yellow fangs sticking out, saliva dribbling onto the grassy ground, his eyes black as the night sky, unforgiving, unmerciful and full of malice. His cold wet long tongue wetting his dry lips. He did not say a single word to Guan Yu, no apology for being late nothing, not even an explanation, he just stood perfectly still a look of supreme confidence on his face, he did not believe for a single moment that he would lose this duel.* *Without warning it had begun, Mortiss wasted no time in making the first time, he was an offensive duelist and he would not wait for Guan to get the first attack in. It came as little surprise to the war veteran Guan Yu, he had seen every trick in the book, he had taken down many a great warrior and general, he was well respected and liked by all who had fought with him. A man of honour and dignity. The complete opposite to the Animal Mortiss, he cared little for such mundane things as honour and fair play, the only important thing to Mortiss was winning and he would have to be killed before he accepted defeat by any man.* *A horizontal slash moving from side to side with his left blade was aimed for Guan Yu's large chest, he kept his eyes firmly fixed on Guans Polearm, he would follow it wherever it would go, he knew Guan Yu was not to be underestimated, he would need to pay attention, his carelessness could cost him the duel, it had happened once before and he would not allow a lesser duelist make a fool of him again. His right blade was left dangling by his side, his grip was loose and free, Guan would be sure to attempt a counter attack, Mortiss would be ready, he would not allow himself to be left defenceless, his lack of protection on his body made him vulnerable, but what was sacrificed in defence he gained in speed and mobility*

Guan had been standing there for hours, he was agitated that his opponent did not turn up, Mortiss was no coward, perhaps he just had internet problems Guan Yu had thought to himself, the fact that the internet hadn't been invented yet never crossed Guan Yu's mind, he knew something was going on however, with a loud shout of boos, the stadium became empty, Guan didn't wish to win by default, he didn't think he'd have any choice in the matter however, the others duels had been getting on well, unlike Guan's... Yet, there it was, a shadowed figure coming out to the arena, no diubt it was Mortiss, bare chested, obviously been in his fair share of fights and duels, he had scars all over him... This Mortiss was an evil looking fellow, Guan had never seem him with his own eyes, not until now, but his looks didn't seem to amaze the latter, far from it in fact, it kind of grossed him out that a man of such repute would dribble while entering the dueling arena, yet Guan was clueless on what Mortiss' medical condition was, so he needed to concentrate, he held his polearm tight, so tight that his hand began to go red, when he had noticed the blood had all travelled to his hand, he loosened up, he couldn't be nervous, his first duel in the tournament would be a tricky one... Yet he wished he would succeed... He couldn't do much else really, Guan used to believe in the gods, but all he believes in now is skill, and his famed Blue Dragon...
When Mortiss showed no heed to the fact that he was more than extremely late, it agitated Guan, yet he knew that was probably what Mortiss had wished for, therefore he kept his cool against his opponent, his enemy.... Then Mortiss began the duel with a fairly straight forwardattack, a slash from Guan's left to right with his left blade, (I chose the direction of the slash because it seemed you didn't) Guan had been expecting that this savage he was duelling would be an offensive type, therefore he quickly brought up his Weapon to intercept the sword on the left, and after successfully blocking it, he backed off a little, thinking about what to do next, he decided to prepare for a defensive duel, and so, bent his knees, brought his weapon up a little, and stayed in the defensive stance waiting for Mortiss to attack...
OOC: Welcome back I guess ^_^

*Guan easily blocked the attack, Mortiss expected no less, it was an attack made without much ferocity or resolve, almost labored as if Mortiss wasn't really interested in dueling Guan at all. It was true that Mortiss thought of Guan as nothing more than an obstacle that needed to be overcome should he reach the final. He laughed as Guan blocked with his legendary Blue Dragon and backed off awaiting the next attack. Mortiss would not disappoint, his first was merely just a test, a test to see how Guan dealt with it.*
*Mortiss cracked his neck from right to left he moved his shoulder blades round and round stretching his muscles, he tilted his head to one side allowing his dreads to hide his face. He gripped both blades tightly, the only way he was letting go now was if his swords were wrenched from his cold dead hands. He took a look at Guans stance, he was obviously going to be fighting a defensive duel hoping that he could take advantage of a clumsy move and counter to deadly efficiency. Mortiss was not about to play into his hands, he would make sure his attacks had no flaws. He lifted his right blade slowly above his head on a slight angle, his left blade was pointed at Guan once more. In height Guan towered over the short figure of Mortiss, It would not be difficult to hit a man that tall, there was more than enough to aim at.*
*With a deadly deafening scream of joy Mortiss ran toward Guan at a lightning pace, he was not weighed down by Armour, he could move freely and he really did move. Mortiss was upon Guan almost as soon as he had set off. Guan was waiting in a text book defensive stance. Mortiss took his chance, with his left blade he took a mighty powerful slash from right to left across Guans body aiming for his polearm, his other blade was brought downward in a slashing motion vertically across Guans chest a split second after his first had been struck. His second attack was not filled with as much power as his first, Mortiss made sure that his left blade was the one packing the punch. His eyes burned with sheer delight as he made his attacks, never losing focus, fixed on Guans weapon*

This Mortiss was a smug one no doubt, he sure was confident, had a reason to be really... Guan could tell that his first strike was a test, it was too easy to block to be an attempt on Guan's life...
Holding onto his blade tight, he was watching Mortiss closely, this enemy of his had no Armour whatsoever, even less than Guan's low amount, this made Mortiss even more quick and deadly than he already was, yet Guan would not regret his choice to enter this tournament, and he would not give up without a fight, it being a valiant fight or an easy fight for Mortiss wasn't relevant to Guan at the moment, all he had to worry about was his oppositions movements...
Then, with a quick dash, Mortiss struck out charged with great speed at Guan, when reached (Which didn't take too long at all) he prepared to strike with both blades, his left blade from Guan's left to right, and his right sword was a downward attack aiming for his chest, two attacks at once were more tricky than dealing with one, which was one of the things that gave Mortiss the advantage, but Guan couldn't think about his disadvantages for his first duel, he needed to block this attack, otherwise he would feel serious pain...
Guan Yu, bring his polearm higher, puts it in a diagonal position with the blade heading in an up-ward right direction, the opposite end being nearby his left leg, now, with the Blue Dragon in position, Mortiss' attacks were successfully blocked, just about... If Guan had trouble like he did just then for the rest of the duel, he would have no chance, then, with a swift movement, he pulls the end with the blade down, the other end coming up in the direction of Mortiss' chin, if this attack reached it's desired destination, then Mortiss' would be thrown off, hopefully leading to another successful hit upon him.

*With a terrific show of strength and speed Guan had blocked both of his attacks. Mortiss had put into his first a sizable amount of power, hoping when it collided with Guans Polearm it would force Guan to loosen his grip and possibly even drop it. This however was not to be, Guan turned away Mortiss' left blade and just at the right time managed to block the right blade. Mortiss wasted no time in pondering what to do next. Mortiss fought like an animal, he relied on instinct and heart rather than brains.*
*Those soulless empty voids he called eyes were ever fixed on Guans positioning of his Blue Dragon, not for a single moment did he lose vigilance. Guan was preparing for a counter, Mortiss wasted no time, seconds would count in this duel. A veteran duelist, he had seen it all, and conquered most. For Guan to defeat him it would take something special. Mortiss using his Superior athleticism and dexterity side rolled to Guans right hand side, he was on his feet as soon as he was in the desired position. Guans attack had dealt a blow to the air, not his intended target. A tight grip had been held onto his blades, his grip had not loosened on them from Guans blocks, they followed him as if they were an extension of his hands. As soon as he was up he struck out at once, attacking with speed and ferocity at close range he slashed with his right blade just underneath Guans right arm, his left was above his head in a horizontal angle*
