The walls stand almost 40 feet tall, fotified by stone in three levels. The higher the walls go, the further out and more decorative the walls seem to get. When one stands at the bottom, one truly feels small. Ramparts line the walls, with a 90 degree angle for firing in two directions with not a danger in the world of being shot. Towers stand at each cornet, the northeast, northwest, southwest, and southeast. They are 70 feet tall, and store food as well as weapons.
the gates are as grand as any ordinary cities Castle. They are tall, ornate, decorated. It would take a short time to bar the gates under seige, but the heavy chains coming down from the bars make it even harder to break down.

Approaching the grand city and capital of the mighty Wu forces, Zhang Yuan takes in a deep breath wondering, in awe, how long it took to erect such mammoth walls. Certainly, in time of need, such structures could turn an enemy away with little gained from a siege battle. Unfortunately for Wu's enemies such an attempt would only end in failure and the loss of life astronomical, more than likely. However, mere structures are not what wins battles. Instead, it is the skill and determination of its defenders that decides the outcome. A rogue leader, of sorts, makes his way to the huge gates that stare lifelessly across the open plains. Many great warriors have passed through these very gates and soon there would be yet another. The Rising Phoenix pulls on the reigns of Shadow to halt the magnificent black war steed. The guards stationed at the gates, if seasoned, would know this warrior was no mere farmer or conscript. Well, one would hope they could discern such things from the glorious silver armor which covers the body of the young man. If the man's attire was not enough to capture their attention, than the powerful voice and mesmerizing gaze would. "My name is Zhang Yuan" the young leader says before bowing slightly and after he had dismounted his steed. He looks over the two soldiers who were on duty this day. Their armor and clothing clean, blades sharpened, tone solid, and respect to a newcomer given; indeed Yuan was already impressed. "My thanks for the welcome and i also agree that it is a day worth remembering" Yuan says in response to one of the guards who offered a welcome on the behalf of Wu. The lone rider looks to the heavens and lets the warm rays hit his face before responding with the reason to why he is here, in Mo Ling. "I wish to speak to a member of the Sun family about possibly joining the armed forces." The other guard, who was standing by, perks up a bit hearing the possibility of another officer into Wu's swelling ranks. He soon turns to yet another soldier, stationed inside the city, and the large gates begin to swing open, slowly. Zhang Yuan nods in thanks to the men who clearly went on instinct letting an armed warrior into the capital. Yuan did not wish for them to be punished in any way, however, it was nice to not deal with many questions when his intentions were harmless to begin with. Harmless, that is, until unleashed onto the battlefield where he would swim in the blood of his enemies. The young warrior walks down the main street of the capital with Shadow trotting close behind. Thoughts of the latest battle still run through his head. Little did he know that his previous battles would be dwarfed in comparison to anything under the Wu banners. Approaching the palace stairs, Yuan hands the reigns of his mighty beast to an attendant who moves toward the stables. When reaching the top, the young warrior removes his silver helmet and tucks it under his left arm. ((Brian, RPed the guards cuz i didn't want to wait. )

A lone warrior rides towards the gate of Mo Ling, the rider being family of the lord should be allowed in without question, but he comes in as any man should.
Sun Huan- Greetings Guards, I am Sun Huan I hope I'll be allowed into the city.
Guard- Yes, enter into the city through this gate and proceed on your way. Turns to men on top of gate
Hey You! Open the gate for Sun Huan!
Immediately the large gates swing open, and Sun Huan rides in to the city. He dismounts his horse and then walks towards the palace of Mo Ling to see Sun Ce. As he walks, he notices various things in the city, performers doing mock battle representations, old ladies peddling their wares, a drunkard getting thrown out of a tavern for causing trouble, little children fighting. When he sees them he goes up to them and says
Sun Huan- Why are you two guys fighting?
Child 1- Ling took my kite and won't give it back!
Ling- Yeah, well I only took it because Chen kicked my little sister!
Chen- I did not! Punches Ling in the arm
Ling- Owww! Hits Chen back, when Sun Huan steps in.
Sun Huan- Easy guys, I'm sure theres a good way of settling this. You two sound like you are friends are you not?
Ling- Yeah we are.
Sun Huan- Then why should you fight. Ling appologise for taking Chen's kite, and Chen you appologise for kicking Ling's little sister. I don't want to see you guys fighting again.
Ling- Okay mister. Sorry Chen for taking your kite, I'll get it when we get back to my place.
Chen- Sorry Chen for kicking your sister, I won't do it again. looks at Sun Huan
Hey mister! If you ever need help, come and see me and Ling we're the best at fixing things.
Sun Huan laughs and then says
Sun Huan- he he he... Alright guys, see ya around!
He then continues to walk to the palace. He gets to the entrance, and he quickly looks around and he sees a stable. He walks there with his horse and says to the stable hand
Sun Huan- Is it alright if I leave my horse here, I have business within the palace
Stable boy- Yes you may leave him here, we'll look after him.
Sun Huan- Thank you.
He then proceedes into the palace
(Srry, like the previous poster I too did not want to wait.)

As wang ji rode forth to the wall he started to remeber why he was here. He was here to join the red banner and fight for what was troubling this kingdom. When he got within 50ft. of the gate he stopped the trouting of his horse and began the horses walk. He had left the kingdom of wei some time ago, for often didnt agree with the of wei. As he got closer people in city started to stare at him. He guessed it was maybe his silver armor that caught their eye, or he hoped. He he got within 5ft of the gate, there were around 50 people at the gate. Wang Ji then spoke...[/i]
"I, Wang JI, have come from the lands of wei with my brother Wang Yun. We have come here to offer out spears and spirits to lord Sun Ce. He is a worthy man to serve under, and i hope he accepts this offer. So please, open the gates and allow me to speak with your lord..."
With that said, they both got off theair horses and waited for the response, hoping it would be a good one.[/i]

An advisor to the Ruler of Wu, Lord Sun Jian, happened to be passing by the main gates when this new man arrived to offer his service to the red banner. The finely dressed official was a veteran with many years under the Tiger and his sense of worth in a man was great. Wang Ji no doubt possessed an aura of strength for the advisor would not have even bothered opening the gates.
Signalling to the guards on the inside of the magnificent capital, the advisor waits for the large gates to swing open before walking forward toward Ji.
"Hmmm, normally such requests are futal my brave warrior" the man says smiling.
The robed elder bows and then introduces himself.
"My name is Lu Qian and i am an advisor to the Tiger Throne."
"Lord Sun Jian will not be able to meet with anyone at the moment for he is away on.... business."
Qian walks around the warrior looking him over from head to toe; inspecting him. Surely the man must be worth risking his own life for as Lu Qian would surely be executed for bringing a potential spy or assassin into the kingdom. However, it was so difficult in these times of chaos to tell a genuine man from a cowardly murderer.
"Very well... i sense much loyalty and honor in you, my friend" he says after completing a full circle around Ji.
"Welcome to the capital of Wu!"
"Though you are formerly from our enemy to the north, i am sure Lord Sun Quan will be able to look past that and see the skill you bring to our cause."
Lu Qian stands aside opening a path for Wang Ji and his brother. Guards still keep a close eye on the two for Wei is full of wiley individuals with evil plots and intentions.
"Good luck to you young one" Qian says bowing once more.

The Little Prince of Xi, who was not known at all, was minding his own business as he was walking by that path of Mo Ling, he wasn't really sure he was on the right track but 'oh well' he thought, he wasn't heading for Mo Ling..he was just a wonderer.
Well you can say a young"Lost"wonderer, who is searching for a new begining...atleast! As he was walking the path he met an old man and his daughter[glow=orange,2,300]"Hello there Sir, Hello M'lady"[/glow]Said the Prince respectfully[glow=red,2,300]"Hello"[/glow]was the reply from both.[glow=orange,2,300]"May I ask, where does this path lead?"[/glow]The Lady smiled and said[glow=pink,2,300]"Mo Ling".[/glow]
The Little lad grinned and started to rush as he walked in a rush he yelled[glow=orange,2,300]"Thank You!!"[/glow] Little Prince of Xi thought of Mo Ling 'Hmm, Mo Ling...Isn't it a Wu capital?..or a city that belongs to Wu?..hmm'. He kept walking and he started to day dream.
Not noticing the great door ahead of him, he slammed right on the gate making a loud noise for all the guards guarding that gate to here it[glow=orange,2,300]"Ow..that gotta hurt"[/glow]He said as he spun to the opposite side of the gates and fell face first on the ground

*One of the guards patrolling the area looked over, and saw a young man entering, falling face first onto the ground. He chuckled to himself, rushing to the man's aid. He took him by the shoulders, lifting him to his feet.*
"Hell of a fall you took. Is there anything you need?"

As the Prince was being lifted he looked at the man but instead of seeing one he saw 2, He opened his eyes and said [glow=orange,2,300]"There are two of you..are you twins?..uhh?"[/glow]
The Little Prince shock his head and saw it was only one man and he widely opened his eyes again and tilted his head with a confused face starting to appear [glow=orange,2,300]"Where is the...I thought..huh?"[/glow]
Prince of Xi then turned his head and looked at the gates and thought for a while of why he was here 'Why did i come here?'
As he thought he remembered and turned back at the guard smiling, and motioned his hand to the gate and said [glow=orange,2,300]"Yes am here to enter and meet your Lord..please"[/glow]
At that he stopped and awaited a reply or an entrance well both actually...!

*The guard bowed, forced to withdraw and return to his partol routes.*

He had been travelling for a while now, when he slowly stopped his steed, unmounted and walked slightly forward, the black steed by his side while he admired the walls standing before him.
He looked upwards, to keep admiring the finely made structure, when he realized that the soldiers standing on the tope of the tower now gazed at him. He was surelly no farmer neither was he low in ability, but the ways he acted seemed to put both affirmations in questioning. Although a man of somewhat higher strength, when he finally began to speak with those in the tower, his voice didn't sound like that of a commoner, he had a deep voice, what seemed to please other, for that made them believe he was not one to fear.
Soldiers, if I may ask to enter your city, so I can speak with your lord, and offer him my humble services!
Cried he, for he was still away from the city. Now, after speaking, he turned to his followers and bade them do the same as he had done, and those mounted, unmounted, and the bowmen had simply bowed, to show he meant no harm to the city, neither was he a spy, for that matter.
((OOC: I guess I already have the 750 troops I got when I created my char, right? If not, just ignore the last part, I'll edit it later))

(If you're here to join, I'm sorry to inform you that I'm not accepting anyone else, to keep things fair. Shu and Wu have too many members at the moment, while Wei and Zen are very much in need. I'd direct you to Wei.)

(Dang....oh well...I guess I'll go to Wei then...thanks) Some other soldiers, that were asked to require permission to let the stranger in came, whispering to the guards, who at once turned to the red armored warrior, informing him of the current situation. Our lord is unable to receive you, sir, so I have to ask you to leave at once.Jiao, who had already mounted on his steed once more, now turned to his troops and smiling, he bade them remount their own horses and began his march away from the walls of Mo Ling, and while he went away, he sighed, for he knew not where to turn to.
