~In the Majesty of the Bronze City, Bofu Rises to Greatness~
*Long had the people of Wu worked in Mo Ling to prepare for this day. Every official had worked to their fullest to ready Sun Ce for this day, and Sun Ce had gotten himself ready. He traveled to Lu Jiang and to Wu, giving speach to the entire cities, before thousands and thousands of people, successfully gathering support of those cities, and many cities around them. He learned a young general had also been discovered in Guan Ling, and soon after the city there submitted to Ce's ascension. Soon after, all of Jing gave their support. Xia Pi and Xiao Pei, under the command of Taishi Ci, gave support a week after Sun Jian's death. Xu Chang was the only city left without support, however they were yet to be annexed into Wu.*
*With everything ready for Sun Ce to ascend the throne, the Bronze Spire Castle was reorganized and decorated by slabs of solid gold and trimming, with pure white drapes over the walls, around the paintings, and ornate designs everywhere. A grand palace was transformed. It was, for one day, the throne halls of the Heavens. The head of the celebration was the young Sun Ce.*
*The halls were littered with officials, nobles, upper-class citizens, family, and friends of Sun Ce. Sun Quan and Xilai Shao stood aside the throne it was quite, but the silence was an uproar of noise. When all stopped and turned towards the throne, the gates into the hall opened, as a slight gust of wind blew forth into the room, blowing drapes and curtains sideways as Sun Ce made his presence, his loyal bodyguard Zhi Liang.*
*Sun Ce wore on his head a golden ornament, his hair tied backwards into a loose bun. His face was clean, absent even of the scar on his right cheek by use of expensive makeup. He wore a red robe with black designs of tigers and dragons, a pelt of a tiger across the shoulders and collar. Liang wore a green robe, more fit to his body, with tight sleeves that drooped at the wrist. His hair was straightened to look professional, and his bandana was tied around his neck.*
"HAIL!"
*Zhi Liang called out. Some three seconds later, all others resonded simultaneusly.*
"HAIL!"
"HAIL!"
"HAIL!"
"HAIL!"
"HAIL!"
*Sun Ce approached the throne. With each step, he looked at the people around him. They looked to him now, to take on the role his father had only a month ago. They all accepted him, trusted him, turned to him for defence of the land, and for sending Wu to prosperity. If he did not succeed, they'd scorn him. Ce reached his throne, and turned to address the people.*
"People of Wu. With Sun Jian passed, Sun Ce assumes his role. May we find peace and tranquility, and defence from our rival powers, for the rest of our days. I shall do all in my power and intellect to prevent the decline of Wu.
*Sun Quan approached, kneeling and holding out his hands. Sun Ce reached out, and grasped the object he was holding, taking it in his hands, holding it close to his face. He was amazed, he was holding the Imperial Seal! The object his father, Sun Jian, found after Dong Zhuo destroyed and abandoned Luo yang. Rumor had it that Sun Jian found it in the well, on the body of Lady Mi after Li Ru threw her out a window. He had taken it, hid it from Yuan Shao. And now, it was passed to Ce.*
*Sun Quan rose to his feet, now holding out a sheathed blade. With a mighty tug, he drew the blade from the sheath. It was the Sun Ancestral Blade. The blade held by Sun Ruyi, Ancient Horselord of the Sun Family. The blade by the side of Sun Tzu when he wrote the Art of War. The sword held by Sun Jian in every battle he entered. Blood from hundreds of kingdoms and soldiers stained the cleansed silver steel. Even Guo Jia, who was responsible for the death of Sun Jian, who was killed by Sun Ce in Xu Chang.*
*Quan turned the blade around, holding it out to his elder brother. Bofu looked at him, and Quan looked back. The younger brother dropped his head, smiling while dropping a tear. Sun Ce reached out, seeing his whole life ahead of his while he grasped the handle. Quan released it, letting it enter to it's new master. Bofu swung it twice, rising his head while lowering his eyes in amazement. The sword of legend was his. It was a sword of kings, staying sharp for generations at times. It was his. And he was king.*
"I now take my role. I now become king... of the mighty Wu!"
*All fell to a bow, praising the young lord. He had his whole life ahead of him, and he was already a lord of a great kingdom. His potential was shown, and it was now up to him. Wu stood at his command, and it was his choice to lead it to glory or darkness.*
