(Well thanks for the support here at least ;D, and as it says in the description of the main street its wider than 25 men - only the residential districts are that small - the main street is wide enough for armies to fight on easialy. And for this time I'm not to bothered - but you need to post troop numbers - otherwise it is considered you have all your troops here. And as for location? I thought I was attacking you where the road came out onto the plains in the north - leaving nowhere to ambush from - where do you think we are?)
The ambush was of little concern for the lancers - they were not hanging about to fight close quater melee battles, as soon as they colided with the 2 lines of Swordsmen they were still charging through - they can break through ranks relativly easialy, 2 lines was no problem. This meant they wern't hanging about to wait for the swordsmen to attack them - they kept on going, tearing up the bowmen behind the swordsmen. Then once through the men they circled round and began to do passes through the bowmen - impaling as many as they could.
The swordsmen followed up behind the lancers - the ambush revealed where the other men were, now numbers could do their work - the 1000 bowmen fired from behind as well, as the fighting continued.

Two things were being shouted through the city, true? with the state Cao Ang was in he couldn't afford to take chances. The first to reach them was the death of Sun Jian, this was fantastic news. Cao Ang's men were plowing onwards through the unsteady Wu troops - worried their leader may in fact be dead. However barley had an advantage been taken from this when word that Guo Jia was dead. This was unerving - and meant Wu, with their superior troop numbers could now be the defenders, leaving little if no hope for Cao Ang aims of victory.
He sounded the gongs - his army was going home, the city was lost. With an able stratergist with it - but the lord of Wu in the process. Cao Ang was angry, his brother hadn't let him have the men he wanted, now this had happened. He would leave a burning city - now in the hands of Wu
