A vast cavalry rides in, their numbers clearly high up in the thousands. It is the grand steeds of Ma Teng that these sons of Qiang ride, their speed unheard of.
They wait behind a large moutain and are emplaced into the forest next to it. Ma Teng is not hiding though, he is upon his horse with Pang De, King Duosi and others, over looking the lands before him. Lands that would soon be his, if Ba Zeng appeared.
Somewhat hundreds of miles away it seemed millions of militia and other assorted men sped through the lands, soon to make their way to their own individual target across Wei borders near and far..

Ba Zeng arrived with Cao Ang giving all of the Town Watch a "Day off" Because they 'deserved' it. Telling them that no real threat opposed Hong Nong. Friends to the east, south, west, and the great wall to the north. No one questioned it. Ba Zeng intentionally gave the enough work for a life time so they really did deserve it.
Ma Teng had a clear veiw of the main city in Hong Nong. At the main gate a small group of Zeng's and Ang's most trusted men or their personal armies arranged their. With torches allowing Teng to know their presence.
Within the last few weeks Zeng made a new law for the community of the city. He made a curfew for all the civilians to follow. It was 'supposed' to make criminals obvious, but Zeng didn't really care about that. He had other needs for the curfew. It was way past dark now. Everyone would be in their homes sound asleep.
All of the Wei soldiers here would be killed in their sleep and in the morning the Qiang flag would wave from the palace. Of course the Wei loyalists would have to be put down when they start their doomed revolt.
If everything went as planned in the letter, Zeng would be remembered more than just a 'scribe' in text books.

Ma Teng looked to the group, noting what to do.
He charged down, prepared to move thorugh the empty gates with his officers, their cavalry not too far behind. They'd slaughter all.

Cowardly
King Duosi shook his head as Ma Teng charged. Though all this was pre-planned Duosi didnt agree with it. Either way he signalled his men to move out as well.
Following close behind Ma Teng his men and all the men of Qiang rushed into the village. Duosi though just sat back upon his new steed and watched what unfolded.
