it won't affect the rpg, i just dislike fighting with wooden sticks, if anybody wil lduel me, yet wnats wooden sticks as weapons then i agree, would like the duel ASAP

thank you...i'll post my info, and then i leave you to make the first move
Weapon - Dual Swords, each weapon is 5 feet, the handle being 1 foot. the blade is 4 foot, and its width is 2.5/3.5 inches.
Armour - standard, mainly padded leather, so it won't protect against a full on attack, but it gives me mobility if nothing else.
thats about it for now....rules are
Deaths - but it doesnt affect the rp no concealed weapons no auto-hitting no god-modding
the arena is...erm...lets think...an open plain of grass...with a beautyful sunset lol...nice and easy...

Zhuge Jiao stood there, his curved swords in a firm grasp, one on each hand, he seemed nervous, for though he seemed confident about his skills, he kept in his heart the fear to lose in his very first duel, since before that he had only foght in the army, once.
The field was quite calm, the wind silently blew, his eyes slowly seemed to scan through the fields, and there was not much to see, for the only tree he could see was quite far from the duel ground.
(OOC: Sorry for taking so long....and forgive the lazy post, I'm a bit sleepy ^^' )

Within moments Zhuge Jiao was standing before the Commander of the Southren Guard, Lu Xun, Lord of Ji Zi Long, and governor of Zhao Ling. Lu Xun was a stoic character, vigilant in his duty, reserved in his politics. Despite the turmoil that often plagued the Wu parliament, and that the lightness of his tan hinted at something other than evimite in his heritage, Lord Xun remained an ardent defender of evimite society. Neither eager in his reach nor timid in his standing, he made for the perfect governor of an out of the way territory that kept enemies of the state at bay.
Lord Xun stood from a field burdened with a multitude of heavy lock tresses and vargite tombs, and welcomed a statement with but a curt nod. "I do not believe I have had the pleasure general, I am Lu Xun, today we shall fight, and tomorrow we shall drink, there is no harm in destiny…and there is no shame in defeat."
His armour curled over his red and black robe, hinged briskly by the rope that fastened his armour in its rightful place. The majority of his body remained hidden within the robe, yet small patches could be seen of his dark black armour that clung to his skin with a dragon's strength.
"Zhuge Jiao, yes I have heard your name, but with little acknowledgment of your success, you’re a fool Zhuge Jiao to face me, and your about to witness your own arrogance with the welcoming butt of my blade, still, I respect your courage in facing me."
It was a smile that split the air like a demon's omen shrouding a peasant's corpse, his face lit gently before his head arched with his torso, twisting for a brief second as his opponent readied himself.
"I leave the honouree of the first move to you."
He stepped back, casting his body into a defensive position, his blades drew gently, and his face portrayed no emotion, his enemy doing that for him.

Looking forward, he saw a man of high renown, but, surprisingly, unafraid, standing proudly before Xun, he bowed respecfully, for he had heard that man's name before, and he was aware that he was a great opponent. He gripped on his swords a little tighter, his eyes scanning his opponent quietly as he simply smiled, but even that was hidden below his brown beard.
I must say, Commander, you are quite as remarkable as they say you to be, but I shall not go easy on you for your renown.[/b]
He said with a confident voice, much for his surprise, now that he had seen the face of his opponent, he surelly was less nervous than before. The red leather armor on his body was quite a fine vest.
When he was given the oportunity to attack first, he first seemed to be calculating his own moves, for he did not want to disapoint the Commander, of course not. He slowly began to raise his right arm, wielding the longer sword, and shortly after, he went forth, towards Lu Xun, and with a move of his left arm, he striked through the air, aiming for Lu Xun's upper body.
[OOC: Ahhh...I hope I didn't do anything wrong >_<''' *Not as confident as his char* <.<]

It was a smirk that split the air like a demon's omen shrouding a peasant's corpse, his face lit gently before his head arched with his torso, twisting for a brief second as his opponent began the dash.
"Your Dead." His words came out with a hiss, a darkened tone lingering beyond to cover the air that it spread to. In a mere second Lu Xun began his own counter.
With his blade tilting with his fast approach, the two warriors looked as if to come identically towards each other, nothing but their own blades could break the tension between the two, fuelled by one another's own arrogance, Lu Xun could see the attack coming to him, the blade positioned in his opponents left hand meant an easy attack to his upper torso was an easy target, little did Zhuge Jiao know of Lu Xun's power, but soon he would, and they both knew this.
A few spans separated the two, in reach of maybe a 9-foot spear, but no reach for swordsmanship, Lu Xun would act now, his right foot twisted and charged, whilst his left foot lent in to bend his left hand side somewhat.
The move would turn from a charge into a dash, and with his left hand side lowered he was out of the way from his opponents initial reach, his aim wasn't forward neither, it was more of a diagonal dash, the heavens often saw death from the northern stars, but today they'd see one from the northwest. With his right hand gripped tightly with his tilted blade, he arched it out, and then swung from his right hand side at Zhuge Jiao's mid section.
With the two so close, Zhuge Jiao's attack would have taken place, the blade moving forward only to miss its dashing opponent, Zhuge Jiao would find himself with a raised sword and a blade aiming for his mid section, mere inches parted the two, and one attack seemed to Lu Xun's expert eye as a hit, the other however, was already off. How little Zhuge Jiao knew of acting, this battle wouldn't last long, and Lu Xun was here to make sure of that.
In the midst of the action, Lu Xun had drown his second blade on his right hand side, as his front, rear and left hand side seemed protected, he used the right blade to draw half way up the scabbard, before twisting the blade to lock, with a drawn blade on his right, nothing could have harmed him in such short distances.
[[You CAN block this…but you must post the detail needed for it…remember, a duel isn't about the attack, its about how one can counter it…. always consider your weaknesses when fighting, and always consider your strengths when attacking. Your using power from your speed and weight, which is easily manipulated, instead of wildly charging…in future pick your moves wisely, and never rush into the midst of a battle, now give me your best shot]]

Zhuge Jiao, although strong, little knew about acting in this kind of situation, he dashed and slashed, but now that he thought about it, he wasn't exactly sure if dueling such an experient Commander was a good idea. He saw the enemy's attack comeing towards him, and at first, he didn't think on how he would defend himself, but a few moments later, the attack coming nearer and nearer, he saw that in his right arm was the sword he, a moment ago used as a feint to attack with the shorter one, so he thought he could defend himself in that one, so he turned his sword downwards, so now it went as a protector on his forearm and elbow.
He did all that, yet, he didn't know what he could do next, he did know, though that it would be best if he kept his eyes on Lu Xun, and so he once again faced him, and began to follow his movements, turning his body slowly, he knew the attack wouldn't be long to take place, and yet, he knew not what to do.
Jiao's swords were both lowered, he watched as Lu Xun began to slash, his sword cutting through the air. Zhuge Jiao raised the sword in his roght hand and put it infront of the intended target, and after the coming attack had been blocked, he stepped sideways, as if to slash with his left one, but as the sword drew near of Lu Xun, he stopped it, leaving it in a defensive position, while the real attacking sword, the one that had just blocked, he went for a stab againg the Commander's abdomen.
[EDITED OOC: Again, lame, in a hurry...]

Honour was but the last thing in his mind
An open plain was often known as the resting place of the denied, whilst a fortification of fields was a resting place for the defied. Lu Xun knew the differences between a victory from a defeat, and it wouldn't lie in the hands of the slayer either, but instead in the hands of the destroyed.
An open plain and two generals, a carcass and two blades, it meant little to some, but everything equalled, where one prospered, the other would fail, where one lived, the other died. This was but an equal opportunity, where is the honour, when your own life is pressed within the actions of a metal blade.
The answer is everywhere, the denied rested with ease, and the defied resting with disease, the only difference between the two, is that the denied were put to death, where as the defied where simply fooled into it.
Lu Xun was not to be the defied, but instead, the denied, if he would lose, it'd be because he had no other way of survival, he was ready to gamble a blade, but never a life.
His body had twisted its full length across the plain, little did Zhuge Jiao know of its meaning, but Lu Xun had already won the battle, all he had to do now was simply pursue it.
His opponent feinted an attack in the first place, and to Lu Xun's inexpert eye he gathered his opponent would do the same again, yet it wouldn't work. Even though he'd gamble his blade, he pushed forth his dash, leaving his side open for the attack pursued and presented by Zhuge Jiao's side step.
The blade nearly made contact, yet as predicted it halted, his own blade edging harder on his other opponent's weapon. A recoil was presented then, as his opponent went in for his attack.
Lu Xun adjusted but a simple wrist, and swooped his own blade past that of his opponent's, the side step had took place, as did the other attack by Zhuge Jiao. But Lu Xun hadn't faulted, nor had he stopped.
His body scrapped past, and Zhuge Jiao's positioning had made his own feint work against him, his blade scooped in for the kill, yet missed as Lu Xun continued his motions, his direction altered, his left foot gripping the firm soil before re directing his body with now his right hand side.
His body moved quickly, and before long his body was near the back of his opponent, with his weight concentrated on his right, he halted and spun, using the weight contribution to help guide and spin him faster, with both blades free, and away from danger, he forced both blades around, aiming for both the mid section of Zhuge Jiao's back and the top section of Zhuge Jiao's back. His left hand being the one further down, and his right guiding both his body and his attack.
[[I'm sorry you didn't listen, I even told you how to beat me, if you would have used your right hand to block, and then push forward with your body, my weight contribution would have jolted me, all you would have had to do is pursue a strong attack with your left blade…and you would have sliced me in half, besides, NEVER actually state your going to do a feint attack lol, you attack, and as I get cocky and reply a fancy counter you simple feint it and attack…and if I'm foolish enough not to consider that option…I wouldn't have put up a guard just encase lol and you'd win hands down ^^]]

The attack having missed, he saw that he had to admitt it, he wasn't ready for a duel, maybe when he was more experience, but now that he had entered it, it was quite too late to back out, and that he didn't even think on doing, he soon saw where he had made the mistake...he should've done something else, but in the rush of the battle, he simply forgotten what he had been taught. He knew he had lost...
