But the thing is that he doesn't have nuclear weapons until we let him make them. He doesn't have a chance at "Annhilating and nuclear destruction" if we nip him in the bud. Also, I thought you were a sailor. :/

Damn right I'm a sailor ;D doesn't mean they wouldn't send me to war. As long as you can hold a weapon, you can fight. He probably has nukes already though, we can't know everything for certain...

Nah I doubt it. And if he does have them, he'll have 50 if we don't f*ck with him. And if he does have zero, he'll have at least one if we don't f*ck with him soon. So either way we have to f*ck with him. So good luck soldier. I am confident that you'll make toast out of those commies. *no cooking pun intended*

Even if he does have them I think he is smart enough to wait until attacked to use them, same policy as all the other nations that have nukes. As soon as we see one take off from him our SSBN's will launch and then we will shoot his down and watch as North Korean turns into the landscape out of "The Hills Have Eyes" I personally don't agree with America being the big brother in this situation, where the hell is the UN? Aren't they supposed to stop nations from doing what Korea is aiming for?

No. The United Nations is a sh*tty institution that has neither a very large army at it's disposal (besides the forces from other countries) nor even the right to use their forces in most cases, being allegedly a peacekeeper faction (look at Sudan, the UN hasn't done SHIT). All in all it's like this-If nobody does anything to stop someone like Kim Jong Il, a country needs to stand up and do something. The United States, being the most powerful nation in the world at this moment, needs to accept this responsibility, and not duck out from it like they tried to do prior to World War 1 and World War 2.
Whether he is as rational as you say or not is somewhat irrelevant. He is breaking an INTERNATIONAL TREATY, and as a country which signed that treaty and a part of the UN, the US has all the legitimacy, right and reason to f*ck him up for breaking that agreement, although several other nations which also agreed to the non-Nuclear proliferation pact should definitely help out in f*cking him up as well (in all likelihood an immediate ally would be South Korea, though Japan cannot be counted on because of the constitution that Douglas Macarthur made for them stating that they can only go to war in defense :/).

... I'm perfectly willing to invade North Korea all by myself if need be, but this damn country prevents me from owning military-grade weaponry, so your SOL on me going personally. ;D But I agree, we need to f*** him up sooner or later, so why not sooner?

What America needs to do is begin to train a puppet dictator, and send him to N. Korea while the current dictator is aging. This puppet dictator takes over, no more problems. Like what happened to France after they lost Paris in WWII.
I'm still currently waiting for Castro to die. Once he does, Cuban cigars aren't illegal anymore. Should make them easier to get, and much more enjoyable.

But merely installing puppet governments doesn't accomplish anything in the long-run.... There will be resistance, because not everyone will be fooled. So we have to show them who's boss, though I don't think we should change their government. Let them pick their government, I say. If they want Kim Jong Il, let him stay. If they want to be unified with South Korea, let them talk it out amongst themselves. If they want to be an anarchy... well that may be a bit too far. But yeah... whatever I said.

Let's just f*** North Korea up by killing their leader and several of his high-up subordinates. Then we'll let South Korea unify the country and give them some military aid. Remember the quote at the end of ROTK: "The empire long divided must unite, long united must divide," or something like that. Korea has been divided for awhile between south and north. So besides eliminating a bastard who breaks international treaties and threatens to destroy our existence let's go in and give the Korean people something good for them. :/

Let's unite old mexico and new mexico too, and the Dakotas as well. The Carolinas, New and Old York, and Yeman and Oman can wait. Texas Little Mexico and Big Mexico will be one soon enough anyway.

Mike: New Mexico, Texas and several other states, including California as well, combine to make a territory known as Aztlan, a vast region stolen by the Imperialistic United States from Mexico. I am all for giving some of that territory back, such as New Mexico, or having a new country called Aztlan created. :/

So basically all the people in those states are screwed huh? Pretty f**ked up. Also in that case, do all countries who currently have land once controlled by someone else have to let it go and give it up?

I didn't say it should be done. I just said I'm all for it. In other words, if the US gave some territory back I wouldn't care, and furthermore I don't care if I'm a part of Aztlan or the US. If you want to know the truth I think that most of the nations of this world are way too big. The US, Russia, China, etc. should be slimmed down a bit in my opinion. :/
