(Sure can compensate with your bowmen shooting my guys. Dian Wei dosnt really have any regard for his own life, he's doing his duty. I think characters shouldnt be given immunity to change the outcome of the battle. If Sun Jian, or anyone else isnt going to be killed, I dont think you should be warning me to get away incase I die. I thought the idea of the whole RPing thing was to write our own story. If you dont want your key characters getting killed, dont get them involved. Simple as that.)

Sun Jian jumped back to dodge an attack aimed at him, immidatly supported by his men at his side to block any would be attackers. (Dian Wei you've been told by 4 different people to move to the north gate, I avoided your attack - your now surrounded in a scripted battle, we already said the ACT 1 is basically just setting the scene - total freedom will begin in the next act.) Sun Jian was meer feet from Sun Ce's lines, but he heard Guo Jia's attack - arrows flew towards him, he stopped....he had no where to run....nowhere to hide.....he simply stared at the air before him, the only thing between him and the arrows...."Sun Ce, Wu must live on....."The arrows impaled Sun Jian, many flying past him, but a few caught him - not many, but enough. Sun Jian keeled over, looking toward Sun Ce as he fell...Sun Jian caught his eyes, Sun Ce would know the look, there was avenging to be done.

~The Flame of Wu Dimmers~
*Sun Ce slashed across the chest of a soldier blocking his path to his father. With his spear, he impaled the lungs of a spearman nearby, facing the other way. There was noone left near, and the Wei soldiers were fighting their final strikes, as the fall of Xu Chang was now imminent. Sun Ce shot by, past Er Aorong and Zhi Liang, to the open area the Sun Jian was now stationed. He ran forward, to his son, and to the lines of his entire army that was fighting to rescue him. He did not look back, as that would only slow him down. Seeing how his entire unit was now killed, there was no reason to look back anyway.*
*Jian had been rescued before, but never was he in so much danger. He was always so sure that he was safe, and up till now that was the case, and his life was never in such jeopardy. But this day, in this very palace, his life was decided. He’d dodged the bullet on many different occasions, and it seemed that the Mandate of Heaven was really his, as his conquest was unstoppable. Sun Jian was the Tiger of Jiang Dong, and how right was it to call him that. He was a dominant power, one of the final lords left in the land, after dispatching of several smaller feudal lords with an iron fist.*
*But today, the Mandate of Heaven was passed. The fate the gods decided for Sun Jian was grim, and demoralized all of Wu. Sun Ce ran out, ignoring the soldiers on each side, towards his father. Time slowed to a halt. Such a feat this was. Sun Jian had fought long and hard to stay alive, and Sun Ce had just about blown by an army at a time on his way to the castle, and even inside the castle. Both father and son’s blades reeked of death, and stained heavily the crimson tide of blood. They came as heroes of Jiang Dong. If Jian lived, they would return as Gods of War.*
*Alas, the said title was not easy to claim. Sun Ce, and Sun Jian, failed. Ce reached out, a piercing to the heart as the arrows flung out the bows of Guo Jia’s archers. He had come so far, fought so hard, yet he knew the outcome from the start. A tear cascaded down the Little Conqueror’s cheek as he watched his very father struck by multiple arrows. By the time Ce had touched Jian, he was dead.*
*Bofu gave out a shout, denying this cruel fortune, embracing his fallen father in his arms, looking into his lifeless eyes as he watched Jian’s face take a deathly pale tone. His lips lost color, his body limp and frail. Giving little time away while mourning the sight, he drew his sword, and plundered the lines Guo Jia, hacking away at any in the way, his eyes burning like fire while aimed directly at the minister of Wei. While he was few feet away, he raised his elbow high, bringing it to the face of the last soldier in his way, sending him flying. With a slight running start, he took flight in a jump, landing with a forceful thrust to Jia’s heart.*
*The troops were feeling the pain Jian felt as he died, as they had followed this man on several campaigns, and had conquered almost a fourth of China’s land with this man as the army’s helm. He was always at the head of the army, his son and his most trusted officers right behind. But now, the man they followed for years, the man they had thought as a leader and as a father figure to all, was killed before them. Many had died this day, but never was a death so tragic as it was now. The soldiers grew angry, and charged with no compassion. Wei would have to compensate, and there were two generals in the palace to begin with. They plowed into Dian Wei’s men, forcing their way forward with swinging elbows, forceful advances with their shoulders, and punches as well as the cold grime of steel across flesh.*
*Blood began to coat the floor of the palace as the Wu soldiers massacred Wei in their own castle. The battle was almost over, Wu seeming to be the victor, but no longer were they fighting to rescue their lord. They were now fighting for revenge. And though revenge is the wrong subject to base your emotions over, it was the damn perfect situation to use it. Wei was pinned in the castle, Dian Wei and Guo Jia were as good as dead.*
(Okay, joke post, goes out to Justin and others.)
*Sun Ce, plad in red and purple cloth, pounded his studded weapons of choice… tonfas… into the face of another soldier that was in his way. He’d fought his way into the palace due to short-range hits with his weapons and a hell of a lot of round-house kicks. And for some reason, whenever he’d do a round-house kick, fire was applied to his foot. Hell, it worked.*
“Hold on RIGHT there, POP! I’m coming!”
*Sun Ce tied his incredibly long hair into a two-foot long ponytail, and began hopping like he was Sugar Ray Robinson. He held his arms out, running at the same pace he always ran towards Sun Jian. However, he was caught in a stop. Guo Jia’s archers fired multiple arrows in the direction of his father, striking him several times. Ce dove forward, squawking in the most annoying voice ever heard.*
“No! POP! You’d killed my POP!”
*He caught Jian as he fell, a disappointed look on his face. He grunted, letting him fall.*
“Come on, totally lame!”

Er watched as Ce charged forward in an attempt to save his father. He ran as fast as he could and was a few steps behind him when the arrows struck. Er was hit by 6 arrows himself, 2 bounced off while four lodged into his armor but not deep enough to pierce his skin. He saw Sun Jian was hit mortally and watched as he died in his sons arms. Er filled with rage and began to turn into a berserker, the most feared warriors where his ancestors came from. He felt the runes inked into his skin burn with fire as he shouted back to the army.
"I want all soldiers of Wei to be killed! Try to capture Dian Wei to face our wrath and punishment, alive would be nice, dead... just as well!"
The men who heard this order let out a wild yell as they charged forward, now more determined then ever to bring down the enemy for the honor of the fallen leader. Er followed behind Sun Ce as they cut through the lines of Guo Jia's men. The fell under his sword as if they were blades of grass. He cut one mans throat open and the flood flowed out all over Er covering him in it. He yelled wildly as he would swing his weapon and find his mark. He lodged his sword into a mans chest for a few moments and resorted to using his hands to do the killing. He threw one man done and crushed his skull and punched into another mans face, his gauntlet crushing the bone instantly. Once he finally dislodged his sword he found himself at the side of Sun Ce, right on top of Guo Jia.

Guo Jia's men launched a cheers of achievement, the lord of Wu was no more, however this victory was to be short lived - as Sun Jian's successor was making good head way into the Wei troops. Guo Jia disengaged from his current enemies and ran from their attacks, he quickly gathered up the men that he had left - they were to make a break for it, as Guo Jia led his men - they charged towards the steps leading up to the palace district, escape had just become victory in this battle.

Dian Wei grunted ignoring the flights of arrows as the 2 Wu officers magically appeared from nowhere.
He leapt forwards towards the second of the pair (from Er's right), the one that wanted him captured, just as he was trying to dislodge the sword from a corpse, his axe (weilded in his right hand) aimed for his unprotected arm-right at the elbow. The weight of such a man, coming down would be enough to shatter anyones defense. How this man was going to avoid loosing his arm was going to be down to sheer luck."Die! Scum!" roared the man.

*Gup Jia was attempting to escape. Sun Ce laughed, a diabolical grin crossed his face. What Sun Ce was, and would be after this battle, was void. He was pure evil this day, and would allow nothing pure to happen to the two remaining generals. They had taken Sun Jian, and his anger cloaked a dakr shadow over his emotions and his self-control. Sun Ce had almost killed Guo Jia, the very man that had planned the assassination, and the cleansing was almost over.*
*Xilai Shao's cavalry men had galloped to the castle, the battle for the courtyard was over. He brought his horsemen to a trot, slowly coming up the stairs and stopping at the top, awaiting for any one soldier to break past Wu's army. When they would, they would be killed by the cavalry. But it was hard enough breaking past Ce and Aorong at the frontline, let alone the men behind them. The castle was now a walking deathtrap for Wei, and it would be only a short time before all opposition inside was dead. In fact, Dian Wei was one of the last soldiers to still be fighting, as most were fleeing. Such an act was remarkable, and applaudable.*
*But he was an enemy. Sun Ce was behind him, rather far away, too. Guo Jia had begun to flee his grasps, when he noticed there was almost noone between him and Dian Wei. Sun Ce picked up a bowman's bow off the ground, and fit in an arrow. Quickly, he pulled the bow back, taking aim at the back of Dian Wei's neck. The twang of the bow sounded, and the arrow sped past men on both sides, flying amidst the chaotic room. Arrows were flying frequently, no soldier could notice this single arrow apart from the rest, and no soldier could see it's destination in time to change the results. The arrow was aimed for Dian Wei, and almost nothing could stop it, as Dian Wei did not see it coming, as he was fighting Er Aorong. The arrow would hit as Dian Wei was half-way through his attack.*
*He fought hard to protect Guo Jia, but it was likely that he would fade away then and there.*
*Sun Ce called loud for the capture of Guo Jia. The spearmen held out their weapons, allowing any fool under Guo Jia's command to run into them, being impaled and dying in a painful manner. He was trapped against a wall of spears, a wall of cavalry behind them. many men inbetween, and Sun Ce and Er Aorong behind him. Their soldiers were as good as done for, as was Dian Wei. It was safe to say this was a day that would go down in infamy, for both Wu and Wei.*

Er let out a sigh as he saw the man coming at him with an axe, he was undoubtedly Dian Wei as he was fighting furiously in a futile battle. Er already had his sword coming out when the man jumped forward with his weapon aiming for his right arm. As Er's sword came out he quickly brought it across his body as he did a left side step with a 45 degree right turn so he would be perpendicular to Dian Wei. As the axe came to where his arm used to be, Er's sword came down on top of the axe to pin it to the ground.
"You are a foolish man Dian Wei, and you and your troops will pay dearly for it."
Both hands on the hilt he placed a good portion of force down on it to pin it good. This deadlock would be enough to hold the man in place while Sun Ce, out of the corner of Er's eye, let and arrow loose heading for the back of Dian Wei.

The man moved with ligtning speed, Dian Wei noticed. But, enough power would be enough to counter speed, and Dian Wei wasnt going to abandon the momentom carried when he leapt at the man...
With both his hands holding his weapon steady, his face was an easy target. Moving forward even further with his momentum, he would narrowly take himself out of the path of the arrow, if he knew it was coming.
With his free left hand, he grabbed one of the ridiculous horns on his opponents helmet, and forced it backwards, which would either remove the helmet, or jerk his head back if his helmet was strapped on. Then, he forced his thick skull forward as hard as he could at his opponents face. Even if he did more damage to himself, Dian Wei would still stun him, and knock him backwards even further.
Moving forward even further to close the space between him and his opponent, Dian Wei also twisted the handle of his axe, so the large blade at the top was pointing down, and the long sword would slide down the handle because of the force the swordsman was putting in holding it down with both hands.
Dian Wei then continued to batter away at his opponents face with his thick forhead.

After Dian Wei landed his move, and mysteriously dodged an arrow he couldn't possibly see coming, he reached across his body with his left hand and grabbed Er's helmet and attempted to strike Er with his forehead. The first strike landed on Er's jaw, but do to his fit of rage just made him even more angry. While Dian Wei was preoccupied with his head butts, gripping his axe with his right hand and Er's helmet with his left, Er changed the force of his sword from downward to upward. He took a small step back to stretch out the arm and Er's sword found the fleshy area in Dian Wei's left arm pit and would remove the appendage from his body causing massive trauma soon to be followed by shock from the sheer pain and blood loss.
OOC: I don't consider my attack an auto hit since there is absolutely nothing between my blade and his arm due to his reaching across his body to grab me meaning it would have to be above my sword with his axe below that.

(OOC: He dodged his arrow by mistake as he moved forward, he did'nt actually know it was there
As Dian Wei tilted his head back ready for another smash, he noticed the long sword coming up his body. He let it move up a little, keeping his axe with it, pushing forward to slow it down. When the sword got to just above his waist, he jolted his right knee up, right into the man's crotch. He had armour there, so not much permanent damage would necessarily be done, but still....A short sharp bang to the netherregions would be enough to make any man cringe. Then, with the brief pause the man would give from recieving this nasty shock, Dian Wei pushed forward with his axe, bringing it up and changing the angle, so he had the blocking angle (twisting his hand clockwise, so he could keep a better grip on it).
Instead of replacing his foot where it was before, Dian Wei then continued to move it behind Er's left leg, where he stamped down, locking it in place. Then, with the last of his momentum, pushed forward to knock the man of his feet.
Then, with his left hand, gave one quick jolt back on the mans helmet, then dived in again. This time though, his head was at a slight angle, and wasnt aimed so high. Instead, Dian Wei went to bite into the mans throat, and tear out his gullet if need be...

Guo Jia's men were outnumbered but were holding ground and had reached the steps up to the palace district, Sun Ce was worryingly near to Guo Jia by now - escape was within his grasp - yet seemed as far away as ever. Guo Jia had salvation though, in the distance he could see Wei troops!, Cao Ang had brought reinforcements from the capital! 1000 Mounted Lancers and 500 Light swordsmen were closing in on the palace district. Perhaps all was not lost, Guo Jia's aim had changed. His dwindling numbers of men were no longer advancing, they held their ground, each man helping the other - they were quite literally going to escape or die trying!

(This battle sucks. We've already won, Guo Jia should have no men left, could we just end it? Also, Dian Wei, your godmodding like none before. You don't know the arrow is coming, but somehow you run forward, when it's aimed directly back, and it misses? No, you move forward, it'll just take a split second more to hit you. Unless you were God, and he serves the Yellow Turbans.)

(This man came running to meet Er, If he didnt keep moving, then yea, a man Dian Wei's size would be god. Also, Im sick to death of seeing people dodge and twist their way past arrows-its impossible. You shot at a man who was running, and missed. Much more believable then going "He saw the arrow coming, and dived on the floor to avoid it....". Yea, real good realistic RPing.
You might have won already, but Guo Jia may escape. As far as the people who don't know what the scripted outcome of this battle will be, I think they'd like to read an exciting RP about his fate.
If you wanted to script a battle, do it in a single post, done by a GM or summat. Dont let people get involved like me. And then dont decide half way through you can't be bothered with it anymore. Like I said, you should have done it in one post if your so anxious to get a certain outcome. Dont let people like me intervene.
No offense or anything, but as a runner of my own sim, I wouldnt let anything like this ever happen. I would do the parts wanted to be done in one post, and let others at the scene RP around it afterwards...)
