Sun Jian barged his way towards the exit of the palace - it was more commonly know as the enterance, but right now Sun Jian had only one need for the thing. With his cluster of men he charged out of the cities palace there were few guards in his way and he and his 50 men soon saw the light of the sun beaming down on them. His unit of 700 Light Swordsmen were awaiting him in the courtyard, and once reunited Sun Jian turned them men on getting out of the city alive. There was only one problem Guo Jia was in his way, the man's numbers far exceeded his small unit of 750 swordsmen. This was going to be a tough battle, he needed to rely on Sun Ce, just so long as he wasen't to late.

Guo Jia eyed Sun Jian from across the battlefield, this was a man he'd been foolish enough to trust. But now he was going to make Sun Jian pay the price, 750 Swordsmen stood blocking Sun Jian's path out of the city, 500 Bowmen were behind them arrows knotched already. This was to be the leader of Wu's final mistake...
"MEN FIRE"
500 arrows flew at Sun Jian's men - shieldless and defenseless in the face of Guo Jia, as the arrows came down on Sun Jian's troops drawing first blood of the battle. Wu would pay! Guo Jia would make them pay!

"Guo Jia was waiting for Sun Jian as he made his escape out of the palace, but Guo Jia had underestimated Wu capabilities - Sun Jian's men ducking under the first volley from Guo Jia. Then Sun Jian reaching the head of his unit he turned back and spoke to his men."
"Men of Wu, today we do not just fight for the just cause, or the glory of Wu or for the people we love - today we fight for our very lives - let us run this trecherous Wei men out of their own homes!!"
With a great roar from his men Sun Jian charged at Guo Jia - the swordsmen flanking his attack, spreading out in an arrow led by Sun Jian. All 750 men aimed straight for Guo Jia's forces - he would have the man's head soon enough!

"Scum! You think you can get away?!?!" Dian Wei roared, as he saw Sun Jian rush towards Guo Jia.
Meanwhile, outside the palace, Dian Wei's troop of 250 swordsmen, 250 spearmen and 250 bowmen rushed into to find the Wu rebels starting to brawl.
They formed up in ranks of 3, with swordsmen on the front, spears in the middle, and bows behind. As the troops in red dived to the floor, to evade Guo Jia's first volley, Dian Wei's bowmen fired up. The men on the floor were sitting ducks.
"Finish them!" cried Li, the regimental Sergeant, "Now! In the name of Wei!".
The 500 men then moved forwards, to flank Sun Jian's men as they assualted Guo Jia.
"Sun Jian! Why not pick on someone your own size, and leave the poor politicians alone!" cried Dian Wei, as he stopped a few meters from the Wu Lord, "Now fight me here, or are you too cowardly?"

Guo Jia stood firm - they were to fight for their homes against Sun Jian, this was a good motive for any man. As Sun Jian's swordsmen charged towards Guo Jia's formation he sent another 500 arrows towards the man. Then as the 2 sides clashed Guo Jia drew his own sword a blade with branches coming off it - each as sharp as the blade itself, perfect for catching the swords of enemies. Then with a great should he joined his formation and charge forward to eliminate Sun Jian's men

*The 2 frontlines clashed with each other, Sun Jian leading the charge through the centre of Guo Jia's lines - Sun Jian's men were right behind him, plowing forward to break the thin ranks of Guo Jia's lines, forcing a gap to open between the 2 sides of them men. Sun Jian slashed left and righ, he was going to make his way through this cluster of men no matter what, he glanced up the lines for Guo Jia, he wanted this mans head to be a life threatening distance from his body before this day was done. With a stab forward edging ever near to the rear of Guo Jia's lines Sun Jian plowed onwards.*

"Come on boys! Push harder!" Li was roaring. It seemed strange Sun Jian's men had such little disregard for their own protection. Maybe Sun Jian wanted to die gloriously in battle, and leave his son to take over the kingdom. Never mind..."Sun Jian's head would look good on his wall" Dian Wei decided.
Watching Sun Jian try and cut through a large mob of men, Dian Wei thought he would put an end to him. Moving around the flank of Sun Jian's unit, which was casually being slaughtered, and along the front, he found Sun Jian. "Die!" he roared, swinging his axe in a 180* swing aiming to split open his skull.

*A javelin flies through the palace, flung from the arm of Sun Ce, impaling a soldier far across the room. Sun Jian was not in his view, as all Ce could see at the moment was a sea of blue. He had broken past the soldiers defending the entrance, leaving them behind him. The archers, numbering a thousand, and about a hundred swordsmen, caught up; rushing up the stairs. The Wei soldiers behind Ce and Liang tried to turn and attack them, but were neutralized by a heavy volley.*
*Ce and Liang were now in the palace, the only battle being between Xilai and Ang and the battle in the courtyard. He saw Dian Wei, a large, muscular man, and knew he would cause problems. He’d heard rumors about him, and knew that this was no less then a perfect time to take him down. He called for his archers, telling them to aim only for Dian Wei and the men near him.*
*Ce charged forward, Dian Wei and his men would either be dead, wounded, or paralyzed from the volley. Sun Ce himself was the factor of this battle. The Wu soldiers were dominating the courtyard, massacring the enemy soldiers there, led by none other then Grand Commander Er Aorong, who seemed to be leveling the city. He’d started a medium sized fire, which was spreading like plague. In time, if the battle would not subside, Xu Chang would be no more then ash.*
*As more and more men from Wu came to the palace as the courtyard was being cleansed, Sun Ce ran ahead with swordsmen at his flanks. He drew his blade from his side, slashing left and right. Plunging into the enemy ranks, he was killing like a madman, keeping a clear lookout for his father, who he still could not see.*
“Come all! Wei scum! Bofu, the Little Conqueror, is here to claim your life!”
*Taking his spear from his back, he thrusted it forward, slashing left and right with his sword in the other hand. Xilai Shao was on his way to block off any escape. At this time, any man in the palace was now doomed to die. The swordsmen, joined by three hundred spearmen, converged on Dian Wei and his men, showing absolutely no mercy, striking to kill, not to wound. Capture was useless, and would end in the same way as a stab to the heart.*
*Sun Ce cut one final man across his chest, knocking him away with the butt of his spear. As that man fell, he looked up to see the gold and red armor of his father. There was an opening now, and he could see Sun Jian clearly…*

With Sun Ce finally drawing near the end of his rampage through the city Guo Jia turned and faced the man - he had to many men Guo Jia had no chance against the entire Wu army. Guo Jia gave a shout and horns sounded to his army - they parted in 2, setting up each side of the courtyard so as not to get with their backs exposed. Guo Jia regrouped his bowmen as he joined the west unit himself. Then men kept on fighting - Sun Jian had prescious little men with which to fight with, something at least could be salvaged from this battle, if Guo Jia captured Guo Jia he could bargin his way our of the city - Guo Jia turned and started hacking and slashing once again, fighting for his life in more ways than one.

Sun Jian had little time to waste fighting man after man, as he pulled his sword from the chest of another man Sun Jian glanced south. Guo Jia was splitting his lines, and Sun Jian could make out a familiar figure in the distance - Sun Ce!, war with Wei would be worth Xu Chang after all then. Sun Jian jumped back to dodge an attack aimed at him, immidatly supported by his men at his side to block any would be attackers. Sun Jian turned to Sun Ce and his troops, there were barley 100 meters between them - this distance and the lord of Wu was safe. Sun Jian took a quick look for Guo Jia - the man wasen't to be seen, Sun Jian turned back toward the main Wu army a few lines of smoke rising behind it. Then Sun Jian went for it - he broke from his men and charged towards the Wu lines, running as fast as his feet would carry him. The was nothing to block his path, Sun Ce's men were so close in front of him.

Er charged through men right beside Sun Ce. He had his men starting fires in the city and ordered them to arrive at his current location. He caused enough confusion in the city and gave the enemy a distraction for the time being.
As he cut men down with great force by Sun Ce's side he saw Sun Jian in the distance. Guo Jia's army was forming up and it was obvious they were going to make this fight one to remember. Being backed into a corner they would fight, literally, for their lives. It was futile though, the Wu onslaught would bring them down.
Er was fighting fierce to protect Sun Ce who was charging into enemy lines heroically in an attempt to save his father. A man tried throwing his spear through the air to bring the man down but Er stepped in front of him and snatched it out of the air. He then faced the man who was fifteen feet away and threw it back and hit the man in his facing bursting his skull into pieces. A swordsman came to his side and tried to strike him but found his sword bounced off of Er's armor and left him wide open for a counter.
Er turned to face the man who took his stance and prepared to strike again. As he came at him with a downward slash Er sidestepped and clotheslined him forcing the man to the ground. As he looked up to the sky he saw a metal boot come down upon his face. His body twitched a few times before it settled. Er just continued to fight alongside Sun Ce to protect him, as Sun Jian ordered.

Guo Jia was outnumbered, he was no fool he knew when a situation was desperate, his men gathered to the east and west of the courtyard. Though with more and more Wu troops flooding onto the scene the situation was looking more and more hopeless by the minute. Guo Jia was frantically looking for options, when he caught sight of Sun Jian - the man was making a break for the main lines of the Wu army, with nothing but space around him! Guo Jia turned to his archers and quickly gathered the attention of about 100 or so near him, singalling them to quickly load their bows.
"Men Sun Jian - the betrayer of Wei runs before you, this is our chance shoot him down!"
100 arrows flew at Sun Jian, in the confusion of the battle the sounds were hard to hear, Guo Jia had stopped his fighting - he stood still, his eyes focused on Sun Jian - he was betermined to take something with him from this battle.

Guo Jia's eyes however, were not focused on a living Sun Jian much longer...
The fool obviously ignored Dian Wei's attack to the skull, and the great axe smashed through his helmet into his vunerable head.
Meanwhile, Li continued to drive with the men into Sun Jian's units side, causing more casaulties.
(Im assuming Sun Jian has been killed, as he failed to block an attack aimed directly at him?)

(I have to tell you, man, this battle is just for an rp effect, and will end the same no matter what. You're here only because you can be, but nothing you do can change the effect. And, I've been trying to get people to tell you to get out of the palace, but you haven't. Me and Er Aorong now cut off the exit, and my NPC Xilai Shao defends the only way out of the eastern road. Hate to tell you, but there is quite literally no way you can get out of this battle. As for Jian, no, he's not dead, he's running to try and reach Sun Ce, but Guo Jia fired arrows at him. Jian or Jia, post what happens next... not like it'll be a big surprise.)
(Oh, and by the way, you missed my post where I fired some thousand or so arrows at you and your men. Might have to compensate that.)
